Hellebuyck's Trading Post is a unique hidden gem outside downtown Lapeir, described as both a gun store in an antique shop and an antique shop in a gun store. It offers a great selection of firearms, antiques, accessories, and military surplus knickknacks in a quaint, small space. The staff is a great bunch of knowledgeable and friendly guys who treat customers like family, making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. They are patient and fun, especially for first-time buyers, with a wealth of knowledge on firearms and many other topics. While they no longer offer FFL transfer services, they still buy and sell used firearms and carry a range of accessories and ammo. It is consistently a great experience.

Awesome place to come when you're looking for some old antiques, guns, ammo, etc. The guy in there was really friendly and helpful and was also rocking out to some good music! I ended up buying some ammo and a magazine for one of my firearms. Definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out.
