I first hired Ron Lemming as my accountant in 2023 to complete my 2022 taxes. For the 2023 taxes, February 2024 came around and he requested that I send him everything I had asap so he could complete my 2023 taxes. I mailed everything to him on February 12, 2024; he told me that he would have everything completed the next week and that he would also have estimates for my 2024 income so he could start taking out money from my paychecks for my 2024 taxes. The next week came and went, he did not have my taxes completed.
The evening of April 14, 2024 arrived and I received an email from Ron. He told me that I owed money to file for a federal and state extension for my taxes (it's illegal to file for extensions without permission, btw). He had not even touched the documents I had sent in. I had less than 24 hours to get checks in the mail for the extensions. I had found out that Ron then went on a lavish vacation and continued to not work on my taxes.
Months and months went by. I was trying to reach Ron via phone and email; he never responded to me. September 2024 arrived and my taxes still were not completed. I was panicking. On October 1, 2024 I reached out to Ron's assistant and requested that my tax documents be sent back to me. I received them in the mail a couple of days later; they appeared to be untouched. I scrambled to find an accountant/CPA who would be willing to do a rush job on my taxes, and luckily, I did. It is currently October 15, 2024 and I am now finding out that I owe $14,000 between my federal, state, and city taxes. This money is due TODAY. I am absolutely beside myself and I am panicking because this is not something that I can afford at the present moment. If I had been aware of this at the beginning of the year like I was promised, it would not have been an issue. Due to Ron's lying and negligence, I am in a very horrible situation.

Bruce has done our taxes the last several years and has always been reasonable and efficient! We wouldn’t go elsewhere!

The team over at Plotnik, Feinberg & Associates have been doing my wife and I's tax returns for the past few years. They are very responsive and efficient. They have been great advisors regarding all financial matters and I highly recommend them.
