I worked at Dollar general in college for two years as a cashier, so I only want to give feedback as I enjoyed when I worked for the company and was excited to have one in my town. Here’s what DG district manager needs to change
1. Our community needs the fresh produce section, like all the other DG have in this county.
2. We need TWO registers, not the self serve that is out of service. Having over 12 people in line at a general store in a small community is not acceptable. There is no need for self serve, two registers worked the best, and it’s not the cashiers fault, it’s that the company has removed the second register.
3. When I worked as a cashier, all staff was to wear black jeans and a yellow or black polo shirt as our uniform with our name tag. I’ve seen employees dress with T-shirt’s and joggers. Can’t even tell employees apart from customers. Having uniform requirements gives cohesive professional visibility and represents the company well.

Employees are rude, distracted, and untrained. The store feels cluttered and everyone working was on they phones. Never shopping here again.

I'm in there all te time almost daily. I quit going to the"city" for my daily needs and DG is right across the road . Thanks yall

I'm happy to have somewhat of a grocery store here....But youd think that dollar generals nation wide would clean up their property on a regular basis.As much as we all spend at these stores, they should at least present themselves well.

when the place opened up it was really excellent over time different employees that cared less about their regulars and thats normal a few cashers were better and more friendly then others and suggested great products and made bigger sales because they knew the store well and cared. others acted like they didn't want to see your face. and their job sucked i was a fan of crystal for that reason she sold more product because she was friendly, knowledgeable and knew the products anther thing no cell reception in the store, country music being played made me want to go to sleep head manager was kinda rude lines were backed up and she was chatty with friends..could be at the cash register instead... moving people quicker. no wifi ether.

Watch the prices. They like to miss mark things, then argue over it. It's a dirty store besides.

Staff always helpful. Although they seem to be short staffed, the store is ran to a high quality. Not overpriced and not too cheap.
