Dam Candy Store is a tiny shanty in historic Leland, Fishtown. It has hung tough for years, even with competition nearby. The shop keeps its ice cream cold so chocolates do not melt. The kid‑size ice cream cone is $3 and giant, and the Superman ice cream in house‑made waffle cones is a fan‑favorite. Customers find a rainbow of jelly beans, locally sourced taffy, gummies, sours, chocolates, and more, all sold by the weight. Blue Moon and coconut caramel ice cream are also popular. Prices are the best in the county, offering the best prices. Friendly staff smile and are nice, making the place cute and cozy with a sugar‑scented atmosphere. It is a historic Fishtown tradition worth every bite.
