I so enjoy their quality clothing. I own 5 reversible skirts and one of their dresses. Customer service on the phone and in person has been great regarding sizing questions.

Over the years, I have come to enjoy Haystacks just a bit more. The items in stock can be pricey, depending on what you're looking at - and I wish that weren't the case. Sale prices are pretty good, so be sure to check those out. There are some staple pieces that I've enjoyed at Haystacks - shawls, wide-legged pants, tanks, etc. The shop here versus Suttons Bay are different vibes. The older woman at this location is very friendly and chill. The young people in the SB location are not as friendly, and the clothing options are different, but the sale availability is bigger. This is a great shop to find gifts for family/friends or purchase something for yourself.

Best made clothes I've ever owned. Locally recognized as classy chic.

The older woman working here was much friendlier than the two young ladies in SB. She greeted us, was friendly, and communicated with any special notes (like sales for the day) in-store. She may have also been closing soon, as many of the other shops in town were, but stayed open for us and another smaller crowd to look around. They have items here that they don't have in SB, and vice versa based on Leland being a smaller shop. It's worth going into both locations - same brand, but different options and vibe. Overall, Haystacks is now offering complimentary apparel from outside the brand, which is nice to see; but more affordable and/or more sales would be great as these items can be expensive.

Checked this place out while in town on vacation. Walked out almost as quickly as we walked in. Overpriced products and the staff was more interested in updating their social media and gaggling. Poor customer service when a simple Hello or Goodbye aren't exchanged. Don't waste your time here.

My mistake - our experience occurred at the Suttons Bay location.

Failure standard souvenir shop. Pleny of selection but not a word from the staff the entire time we were there. Everything is over priced but that makes it normal for the area.

I desperately needed something new for an event this weekend, was on my way to TC for what? Macy's? I stopped in Suttons Bay, got two great "cool grandma" outfits for what I would have paid for one at the mall. Stylish, comfortable and modestly priced. I love Haystacks. Why was I driving to TC? I forgot :)
