Limestone General Store is an old time General Store located in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula in Limestone Township. It offers a homemade, from scratch selection including amazing baked goods, an open deli, and 100% homemade pizza that is frequently called the best. The pizza features a flavorful sauce, homemade dough, and generous toppings. Their breakfast and regular pasties are also delicious, with a notably good crust, and the cinnamon rolls and cookies are amazing. The store has a large beer, local wine, and liquor selection along with plenty of Michigan and locally made gifts. It is a great store with super nice owners and is worth a stop for its good selection of basic items. The convenience store is near many fishing, hunting, campgrounds, and ORV and snowmobile trails. It is also a mere 23 miles from the Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. Don't forget to fill up at the antique gas pump.
Great store with super nice owners! We bought cookies and pasties there and they were delicious! We ate our first pasty at the local #1 restaurant but Limestone General Store's surpassed them by far! Highly recommend!

Pizza is amazing! I live in Munising and rather drive out to limestone for pizza, before getting pizza in town. So much better!!

Worth a stop. Good selection of basic items. The Smokers were not running when I was there, but whatever they were smoking previous smelled delicious.
