They don't change car batteries. They tell you go to their competitors or that was at least my experience in January 21st.

I don’t quite understand why people are having issues at this store they all know there stuff I’ve only had good experiences at this store the team members are top tier except for one I will say but I do believe the one I’m talking about his name is Tristen I believe I’m not sure but I know it starts with a T. He always has an attitude and doesn’t smell to pleasant. I will say the team member Lucas is top tier he always helps me with a smile on his face and always has good knowledge. This is the one of the only stores I go to because of the team they have helped me so much with getting the right products for what I need. Ima only say this once so listen closely if you need any help go speak to Lucas he’s worth the talking to when me and my family go in he treats us like we are apart of his family and just makes the whole experience worth it his whole demeanorIs just amazing so if anybody is looking for help with there car I recommend coming to this store I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else

Pull up a chair, I have a story to tell.June 3 as specified on the pic info. I was changing the oil to my little city commuter. As you can see from the pic, for some reason, it spilled all its guts all over my floor. Nobody likes their soup spilling.Remember, the date of the photo is June 3 with a time stamp around 8:30 pm. I walk in the shop with two associates on duty. One has long hair, straight-ish,,, the other is wearing an unmistakable mullet. Guy in the mullet was almost horizontal on two office chairs when I came in the store. For some reason his body language dictates that he wasn't happy I transitioned him from horizontal to vertical. I show him the pic and told him I would like a new set of gallon oil with the filter."Im not authorized to do this exchange, but for sure the Southgate store has a manager that can help you there." This was his response.I've worked retail for a good amount of years to be able to tell that he was just trying to send me somewhere else so he doesn't have to do the work. So I pretended to buy his story and asked him if he can get on the phone to get authorization for this exchange. He seemed extremely perturbed, walks away to the back briefly. A little too brief for a proper phone call with pleasantries, but sure I'll pretend to believe that as well."Ok, i'll do it, but im not even suppose to be doing it because its just company policy." He says."Ok, but isnt this just a simple exchange for a faulty product? I dont see why this is such a big ordeal?" I finally responded as a former associate from the past. He knows I'm correct,, IYKYK right? So he does the exchange with some extremely hard radiating not happy energy. That's fine, my faulty product is now rectified. He even tries to give me advice. "Make sure the rubber on the engine part where you install the filter is secure so that this doesn't happen again." Funny, because there is no rubber part on the engine, only on the filter. Anybody who's been doing oil changes for a long time would know this simple fact. I felt this was his way of trying to condescend me like I didn't know what I was doing. Here's the biggest offense that this associate did, an no it's not the mullet. I happen to be quite fond of them. Don't get it twisted. As I put the newly acquired items away in my car, I return to the store with two gallons of used oil since I know this is the maximum amount per person for recycling. Trust me, I know this because I come here a lot. I do all the oil changes in my cars so yes, the closest shop does get the preference."What can i help you out with now?" He says upon my return."I need to recycle oil," i reply."My tank is full, it's been full for two weeks."I just turn around since that's a great way to say "F-off." Definitly done dealing with this guy.So I call his bluff, called the Southgate Shop to see if he called them, they said they didn't recieve any phone calls from them. Then, I come back a couple of days afterwards to ask around cause I found out Sam was their Manager and would like to speak to him. He wasn't there but did speak to two other associates. Told them the same story and said that associate was actually an acting manager of some sort. Oh, also, magically, their oil recycle tank is now not full and I was able to recycle my two quarts of oil. They also said they've heard him say that to other patrons. So yes, I don't believe I was the first one he's done that to. But I was probably the first one to actually pursue this. I did finally speak to Sam which was very apologetic to how his associate treated me that day. I told him I'd like to keep doing business at this very exact store, but I can't have that treatment again the next time I walk in the shop. It is very unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to an avid patron.Anyways, thank you so much for sticking around all the way up to this point. I hope this helps with your

Knowledgeable staff, easy to navigate aisles. I recommend shopping online, and to verify pricing and availability,to make the parts and tools shopping experience smoother here.
