I love Dollar General but this location is junky. ALL of the staff is super friendly but they need more help. With the apartment building next door, this is very convenient place for people with no transportation to shop. For the most part there prices are good and they have a good digital coupon system if u take advantage of it! Parking lot is dirty and full of pot holes but that is the responsibility on the leasing company. If this location was not so close to the Detroit boarder, it would be a lot cleaner and well kept.The owner/leasing company needs to do better maintaining the property.

literally has ZERO SHOPPING CARTS. took my two kids in and didn’t have anywhere to put the car seat so i walked right out and went somewhere else

I have given this dollar general SO many chances. For YEARS I come every couple months thinking maybe they got better, but they never do. The shelves are always very empty, especially the laundry aisle. Which is kind of funny, since the old dude with white hair will throw a fit of you use any digital coupons. They purposely will not stock those shelves so you can't use the 5/25 coupon on it on Saturdays. Not to mention he never greets anyone and I always feel like every time I shop there, he gives me dirty looks and watches me as if I'm a thief?! A customer even noticed this and mentioned to me how empty the shelves always are. The store continues to be trash. Sad.
