“As the name says, it really is a fabulous place with to find loads of cute clothes, bags, and stuff for around the home. And there's new discoveries around every corner. I wish I could get everything!”
“A neat store with a wide variety of items from things needed for infants to collectible glass pieces. They have great customer service. They have great parking and some very unique pieces.”
“I come here mostly every week and everyone is so nice and the prices are good. The cashiers are always so nice and make small talk and the clothes is so good. I always like to find baggy pants or just good jeans in general and they always have them! Expect i cant really good shirts but it’s still so good.”
“I go to value world for the atmosphere and to relax and see stuff that gives me the warm nostalgic feelings that take me back to when the world care and there was hope still in the air. This has been a rough year so far for me. Not a lot to hope or xare for. People forget that we are our brothers keeper. But when I went to the cashier feeling numb. I was hit with and awesome smile and a great personality to gp along with it. Alexis took every doubt i had for the future with that smile. I had to write her a letter and explain to her that Angel's do exist. They remind us God is still in control and will never leave us without. Workers like Alexis are rare. Because Angel's are needed everywhere. Thank you so much Alexis. Hope is still alive. Because I see it in YOU. DANY.”
“We were cleaning out my apartment and had a lot of clothes and household items to donate. The Lincoln Park thrift store had closed just as we got there - they said they were open until 8 but they closed at 7. Same with the Southgate store. We tried the Trenton store and a wonderful kind lady whose name I didn’t get told us that she could take our stuff if we got there by 7:30. What a relief when we pulled up and there she was! It made our night! (BTW, we donated some really nice things.)”
“Pros ...decent prices, 50 percent off color tag days, vending machines, cons can't try on because of covid, no restroom, closes at 7 instead of 9 not open on Sundays.”
“Went into this place court ordered at a young age 20 years old, did the program about 3 times and i truly believe this place saved my life, met a lot of great people through this place. You will work 40 hours and you will give them your food stamps, but for what you get in return is more than worth it. I highly recommend anybody that is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction to go there if you really want to change your life.”
“Prices are pretty reasonable a great place to buy used indoor and outdoor furniture not a good place to come to haggle prices honest good quality of product and extremely helpful”
“i apologize if i misspell it but i had the pleasure of meeting vermaina and she was the sweetest, kindest soul i had ever met. Very beautiful person inside and out, and i will continue coming to this location because of her service. ??”
“They are the OG of thrift stores. I've been coming here since I was a kid. I'm glad that they are still around. You can always find some treasures here.”
“1st time visiting this store. Clean and organized. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoyed shopping there and found herself some cool things. Love when they have half off sales. It was nice that the cashier let me know you about the time frame of returning clothing. She mentioned it to every customer she waited on. I thought she was great customer service letting us know that..❤”
“Amazing staff.Love that the proceeds go back into the Autistic community.Wonderful all around atmosphere and you just might find that something you didn't know you had to have ??”
