I use to like this theater. They have a variety of movies that appeal to everyone. Good location near the highway and next to some restaurants. There is plenty of parking, but traffic is a problem on both Haggerty and Seven Mile. I like the Fathom Events that show here . It's not as well run. I don't know if that is a corporate thing or this location needs an upgrade.

Wasn't busy, ordered their overpriced Cheese & Carmel .popcorn. Don't do it. It tasted old. The workers were polite. We enjoyed the movie.

The IMAX must be the entry-level model. Wife and I genuinely thought we were in the wrong number theater, walked back out, and then realized....yep. They're calling this an IMAX. The screen is maybe 20% larger than a normal movie screen. No recliners/decent seats in there either. Really disappointed.

We went to this theater for my daughter's first "full screen movie" experience and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The last time I went to an AMC (a LONG time ago) the theaters were in dire need of renovation. The theater we saw Paw Patrol in was clean and the seats were really nice and comfy. It probably needed a tiny bit of love, but all in all it was a wonderful experience.

Amazing theater, watched some of the greatest movies in Imax. I recommend middle to front seats always to get the best experience

Easiest online ordering seats ahead of time. Usually a terrific selection of what is available for the big screen. I genuinely enjoy the special screens like IMAX for the movies I'd actually hike it to a theater for. We prefer to go to Phoenix as a family with little kids for the prices and super comfy seats but AMC is a decent backup. Staff are good, bathrooms are clean, and tons of parking with food options all over the place.

AMC Livonia ... what can I say? I've been going here over a decade, probably almost two decades now.I'll do this review as a new A-List Stubs member, having been a regular and then premiere Stubs member for many years.Well, the theatres are always clean, that to me is important. The staff have always been friendly and pleasant. The IMAX theatre is awesome, so when are you going to add a second one? I like being able to select reserved seating. Some of the other theatres are a bit small, but still clean and comfortable. I think the four main theatres (in the center flanking the main entry and concessions) should all be reserved seating, the other sixteen not so much.I liked being able to print tickets from the self-service kiosks... when they worked. You should add a couple more, and stay on top of their functioning. The Stubs member lines were a nice feature, and now with A-List I don't even need a ticket... just my phone and ID.When there have been (rare) problems with a showing, 3D failed, sound cut out, or similar technical failure.... They have always made sure to make up for it with free passes for future use. Usually 2 per person, one to see the movie again and one for a different movie... or two different movies. Your choice since the passes are all-access.Now the only negative I have to say (and this is the movie industry as a whole) ... scale back with the concession prices a little! I know the movie makers take a huge portion of initial box office earnings, and the theatre makes their money from prolonged showings and concession stand sales. But even with the free upsize and refill with Stubs ... the general snacks pricing is getting absurd, much less all the "real food" options. $20 for popcorn and pop? $6+ for an individual frozen pizza? I don't buy any of the real food offerings. I can stop before or after the movie at any food place and eat a full meal cheaper than a snack at the theatre.Popcorn used to be every movie, now an occasional treat and I don't bother with pop anymore.Trust me, we know the large fountain pop costs you about 25 cents including the cup.... but $8-10 price to the customer? Even with free refills.... c'mon. Here's an idea... you lower the price to a decent profit level, and I bet you sell 10 times as much and have happier consumers. 100 x $2 is better than 10 x $8 or even $10.Right now you charge so much for the few that buy have to make up for those that don't.For a family of 4 to spends $40 to $60 for tickets (non-matinee) then another $50-$75 easily on concessions..... Makes one understand why online piracy (unfortunately), or waiting for PPV and home release or rentals, have cut into going to a show. Finally, as an A-List Stubs member, I obviously like (prefer) AMC, and plan to go often. So here's my review in a nutshell;Keep doing what you do well and I'll keep going, improve your concessions pricing and I will spend even more money .... and I bet so would many others.2022 update:I have completely given up on concessions. The prices for food quantity/selection is absurd. Nobody wants fake chicken nuggets for the prices of prime steak They reduced the size of the large popcorn from a tub to a bag, about 33% smaller, but still the same price and they close up the concession stand before the last movies are done... So no free refill if you are at a late show. I complained to AMC, They said they were sending me free popcorn vouchers but I never got them. So, I go for the movies, there's nothing else worth getting. And with the overall smaller attendance with the pandemic they certainly aren't making much profit from the low sales of ridiculous priced food... But could probably make more produce from higher sales of reasonably priced food.2023 update. They have popcorn tubs again, but they are smaller than the old ones, popcorn price went up. Got some today and was kinda stale and definitely over salted. They should leave it unsalted and let people do it themselves.Doubt I'll get popcorn again anytime soon.

Was going to see dune in imax, and it got refunded due to maintenance, just as I was leaving. Showings were then sold out all weekend. Had to wait until monday.
