I recently started the process of managing my mother's finances. She has accounts with several different financial institutions - I want them all in one place. Michael Gomez has been phenomenal!!! Knowledgeable, trustworthy, PATIENT, attentive and quick to respond, and PATIENT... All rolled up with a great sense of humor and calming nature!!

I was a long time customer at this branch but I moved to W Michigan where they do not operate. I've always been treated really friendly and the bank has a very local hospitality vibe to it. I went back after 7 years to close out some business for my late parents and was greeted by Nikki who is just a sweet and valuable asset to the branch!

Sadly - a poorly run branch (been a Citizens client since they were 1st Federal before they were Charter One). Very poor service/experience trying to get a Teller deposit mistake corrected (Teller put the transaction amount in for $250 less than the money order deposited on a Friday). Was the 1st customer in when the doors opened on Monday, Teller said it required a manager; both were on the phone. After 10 minutes of waiting was asked to leave my info for them to look into it when they're free and contact me later. Asked politely for in person service (waited more), asked sternly for in person service (waited more), ended up having to threaten going to the Livonia PD to file a report of theft to get a manager to provide service. He did correct the Teller error/credit my account. No apology - just a comment that I should have checked the transaction receipt to verify the deposit was correct on Friday. Will use another branch for future business.

This bank is a great bank with great service as many of them have. The bankers are good bankers and the managers are great managers. I would highly reccomend this bank to others and would suggest opening a checking account and a credit card with them for new clients.

ATM is recessed so it's not really accessable by car even though it's a drive through. Can't walk up to it either. Furthermore multiple transactions are required to get your money. I'll be switching to chase.

The 6-mile newburgh branch is exceptional. I have been a long time customer of this branch. They are very customer focused both from the tellers as well as with the bankers. One individual is consistently exceptional and that is Nicole. She is always friendly, cordial and pleasing to do business with. Nicole always exceeds expectations and should be commended for a Job Well Done!!!

My friends mother works there and the staff, they're so friendly. Its like walking into a room full of love, like the worker Nikki she shows so much compassion and she does so much to help out the bank that I think that she should be the manager of that branch. Also the workers katy and Nicole are very helpful and wonderful like its not even funny.

Instead of gaining interest I lost $500 by putting money into this bank. I was trying to close this account because I moved and they do not have this bank where I live currently. So I close it. Then I get overdrafted from Spotify $10 through paypal. Ok well I don't find out till a month later and I have to pay a $200 overdraft fee. I delete my bank account from paypal. Ok w/e I pay the fee and now it's at $0 balance again and I close it again. Ok well deleting the bank account from paypal does not affect recurrent transactions so it's opened again. Ok then something else from another merchent.. Now $200 again. So because of $20 overdraft, I have to pay $400. Apparantly Ive been paying $10 maintenance fee on the account for a year and didn't realize it too. Ok so that's like - $500 People put their money in the bank to gain interest etc. Well I lost $500.

The staff is very friendly and wonderful. The bank itself, well, it's a bank. Go to a credit union instead. You'll save yourself a lot of time, money, and aggravation.

Do NOT go to this Bank. Even if you have thousands of dollars in several accounts and God forbid one of you accounts accidentally goes over. They will take $150 from you and you will never see it again. No warning. No phone call or email. They tell you "there is nothing they can do".

This is not my bank. But it should be. I went in here with my mom the other day, and I have never experienced such a friendly, helpful group of banking professionals. From the time we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted, helped out when we filled out the wrong form and we were even asked when the transaction was complete if everything was satisfactory. They also greeted some of the people in line by name. What bank does that? Not mine! They also have all the on line services that you would need and at this location, plenty of drive up lanes. I rarely go in a bank these days as it's easier to do everything on line. But if every bank was as friendly and accommodating as this one was, I might just make the trip!
