Sorry, I don't write English well I went to this place to have my teeth cleaned and the person who served me was a chinese person she talked a lot, after she took pictures and checked my teeth and told me that i have to wait and talk to her doctor , her place couldn't clean my teeth for me and I had to go see a specialist for a deep clean, I told her that I only had a deep clean a year and a half ago, why? I have to do it again, while the person who did my teeth at the another place I went to a few years ago told me that every five years I need a deep clean, (because they no longer accept my insurance that why I can’t go there anymore ?)then I met the doctor here, oh my god, she looks so young but The language was not polite while she told me to go somewhere else to clean my teeth because she couldn't do it. I asked her why and I telling her I need to clean my teeth ,She got angry and yelled at me, telling me to be quiet and listen to her. Oh wow, I'm sorry she's a Doctor but she doesn't speak politely while I'm much older than her, and I think she should relearn how to behave in order to talk to her customers. polite, and I'm also very surprised when a dentist office doesn't do a deep clean for customers, but tells them to go somewhere else, that's really bad,

Our family are truly happy with the dental care we receive from Dr. Stanford and his amazing staff. We get professional and skilled care from routine cleaning, wisdom tooth extraction, filling and other procedures, with honest customer service. My 2 girls had their wisdom teeth extracted under local anesthesia with no issues regarding pain and healed really well. Shout out to our great dental hygienist Sheiva, you’re the best! Thank you Dr. Stanford and staff for your excellent dental care!

Very professional staff. I feel comfortable & relaxed when I go to the dentist. The front desk employees always greet you with a smile. If you are looking for a dentist, I would recommend contacting Mark A. Stanford DDS & Associates to make an appointment!

I seen Dr Stanford yesterday at Chelsea Dexter dental group he is highly unprofessional and said somethings that a person who has a fear of the dentist who hasn't been in awhile should not have too endure why give him more tools when he doesn't use the ones he has as well as it would just be putting fluoride on a bunch of holes I felt that i was not treated with respect or that he cared about helping me

I have seen Dr. Stanford twice. Unfortunately my fear of the dentist has rendered my teeth in not the best condition. But I have never felt judged or less than by him or his staff. He is patient and gentle and allows time for questions. Everyone I have encountered that are part of the team have been wonderful. With him I think I can overcome my fear of the dentist. I highly recommend him!

tl;dr: unwilling to work with those who want to protect their Social Security Number.Being new to the area, and with these guys are at the end of my street, I chose to call them for my regular teeth cleaning. After setting up the appointment, they called me a few days before my scheduled day to get my insurance information. At that time they asked for my ssn, and I would not give it to them. They asked me to contact my insurance company to find out if they (Stanford DDS) could figure out the billing without my ssn. I was told yes by my insurance company. I called the dentist's office back and told them what my insurance company said. There were no follow up questions from the DDS office.A few days go by and I show up for my appointment. The receptionist can't even figure out how to enter me into the system without my ssn. I'm turned away. Leaving, I call my insurance company again, and they again tell me that the DDS office can handle everything with just my name, group number, and date of birth. I call the DDS office back, explain I just got off the phone with the insurance company and verified again that they don't need my ssn. Stanford DDS was unwilling to take me on as a customer without my ssn. This next section is in response to the businesses response. Apparently google reviews won't let me respond to them, so I have to add it here. You're right, this is an unfortunate situation that we're both in. The actions your office could have taken, weeks in advance, would have been to have this conversation with me ahead of time. You almost started that conversation but you didn't. As mentioned before, after I scheduled my appointment, a day or so later, your office called to get my insurance information. I gave it. Your office said you needed my SSN. I said I'd check in to that. I called my insurance company. They told me you could bill them with just my name and date of birth. I called your office back, less than an hour after I had gotten the original call from you. The person I spoke to had already left for the day. I left a message with a new person informing them what my insurance company had said. I was told that the original person I spoke to would call me if there was any issues. I was never called again. Two weeks later I came in for my appointment thinking all was well.To your other point, now that I've become very well informed in this matter, it is the electronic billing system that your company selected which is truly requiring my ssn. My insurance company does have a way to check up on my insurance information and bill me using just my DOB and name.

Been going there for years, very friendly staff and Dr. Stanford is great. Was in a lot of pain because of a wisdom tooth infection and he was courteous enough to get me in right then and there and he had my wisdom tooth out in in about 30 minutes.
