I write this as I continue to go unnoticed standing around the lobby for exactly 1 hours and 11 minutes. Initially, I thought it'd be funny to see how far it would take for anyone to notice or even greet me. I kind of got absolutely absorbed by death scrolling and realized that exactly more than an hour has passed without anyone saying anything to me. I decided to change the positions to where I was standing to perhaps alert people I needed help, but to no avail. Everyone seems to be having fun, and laughing too. Some reps look busy on their computers, some even walked past me about 3 times. Some reps are on the phone with family right next to me. Do I have to make an appointment? Or am I actually invisible? Am I even alive right now? These questions perplex me and keep me up at night. I sat there in the first photo for 40min, I stayed at the door for another 30min, and stood at the front desk for about 15min. I drove here from Lansing, and didn't even get to see the car I wanted to see. Oh well, next dealership. I figured at least with the time I wasted at this place, I could at least make a meme or two to get a good laugh 😂
I got here at exactly 9:50am, it is currently 11:38am lmao. Also left the building without being noticed.

**Extremely Disappointing Experience at Mazda Livonia**
I wish I could give Mazda Livonia zero stars for the awful experience I had at this dealership. My visit on September 9th was nothing short of frustrating and a complete waste of my time. I didn’t get my vehicle back until September 16th sent back home with the same issue.
I’ve given Mazda Livonia more chances than they deserve, and each time they manage to disappoint me further. I have been bringing my vehicle here for regular maintenance and repairs, and every single time, the experience has been frustrating and stressful.
Most recently, I took my vehicle in for what should have been a simple repair – an Anti Theft Lock issue that needed fixing. Not only did the service take *way* longer than promised (I had to follow up with service tech Matt multiple times to get an update), but when I finally got my car back, the key was broken. It’s as if the technician didn’t even address the problem!
It’s clear that the service technicians at Mazda Livonia have no idea what they’re doing. This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with poor workmanship at this dealership either. Every time I bring my car in, I leave with the same unresolved issues or new problems that weren’t there before.
No accountability, no urgency, and certainly no respect for their customers' time!!!!

I had an outstanding experience at LaFontaine thanks to the incredible team there. A special shoutout to Pam, who went above and beyond to help me lease the perfect car. Her dedication, expertise, and patience made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Pam took the time to understand my needs and found me an amazing deal that I couldn’t be happier with!
Additionally, I want to extend my gratitude to Jose in the accounting department. He was incredibly efficient and transparent throughout the financial process, making everything clear and stress-free.
Overall, the level of service provided by Pam and Jose was exceptional. I highly recommend LaFontaine to anyone looking for a great vehicle at a great price. Thank you both for making this experience so positive! Will be coming back in the future.

The service department is amazing. They were able to squeeze me in so we were still able to leave for vacation on time. The tech Paul went above and beyond, he was awesome. Thank you to the entire service department.

This review makes me sad because I've had two really great Mazdas that I purchased from this dealership a 6 and a CX9. To be honest, this is not even worth the one star. I've slowly watched this dealership deteriorate and it's too bad because Mazda had built great vehicles. The customer service at this location is the absolute worst. You can never speak to anyone and they do not return calls or provide any sort of customer experience. Ross in sales attempted to assist me with a service call because I could not speak to anyone in the service department. The service Manager never returned any calls after repeated calls into the dealership. I will never take my Mazda to this dealership and I will never purchase a vehicle from this location again. It's only a matter of time before they close their Mazda service. It's a shame.

My daughter bought a car from Lafontaine Mazda used cars on May 4th 2023. On May 5th she took the car back in for service because she was smelling oil and the oil light was on. The car was there for five days. On June 2nd the car stopped running IN the intersection of M59 and Duck Lake Rd. We had the car towed to Lafontaine with the expectation that we would get some answers as to the problem with this vehicle. We have called over 60 times to Lafontaine sales and service and have only been able to leave a voice mail at the service department which has not been returned yet! We went in today to try and get some answers only to be told that the service records were not hard copy and the sales manager did not have access to the computer files. Still no answer, still no car. Since May 5th, Lafontaine has had the car 14 days and the first payment is due this Friday. Talk about disappointing. The service manager told us he would call in a couple of hours to let us know what he found out about the car from the service department. It's been five hours and no call. Still waiting to find out what they are going to do about this matter. He told us that Lafontaine put $3000 into this vehicle before they sold it to us. They never disclosed any of that. We were told it was a great vehicle. Great to look at, not to drive. See for yourself and give them a call. They don't answer their phones!

TLDR- My BRAND NEW car had a massive dent on the hood, as well as a malfunctioning seatbelt sensor in the back. Even with these issues, this dealership was not willing to help. The dealrship is difficult to work with, hard to communicate/reach, and will not help unless you constalty message them for help.I am quite disappointed in the experience of buying my first new car through Lafontaine Mazda and I wouldn't recommend this dealership.I had heard great things about the Lafontaine dealership, so I decided to purchase my first new vehicle through them. At first, they seemed kind as I drove off the lot with the car. When I got home, I noticed a huge dent on my brand new vehicle hood. When I contacted the sales person regarding this issue, they kept denying seeing the dent until I brought the vehicle in again to the dealership, which then they offered to fix it through the dealership.Other than the hood dent, the seatbelt sensor in the backseat is also malfunctioning and there is a massive gouge on the leather dash. For these inconvinences, when I asked for a compensation/complimentory serivce, they ignored my texts for days at a time. After going back and fourth for ~3 weeks, all they offered me was a $50 gas card. Quite realistically, the $50 gas does not even cover gas from the round trip to the dealership and to the bodyshop to fix a BRAND NEW car that came with defects. This dealership will continiously make excuses that the General Manager is busy and that they cannot help me, though they sold me a defect car.

The dealer sold me a new car with multiple defects, including obviously visible body and interior damages. I had to go through multiple trips and endless texting and phone calls to get the defect repair arrangement setup. Then, the dealer and sales person reluctantly (unwillingly) offer me $50 gas card after my over 4 weeks of stressful follow up time and effort. I would never recommend this dealer to any average person unless someone is willing and able to perform a deep-dive multi-point inspection by oneself to detect defects before signing the purchase agreement.

I walked in and met Garrett, when he realized he didn't have the car I wanted he found a dealership within the franchise that had my car and sent me to them. He offered great advice on options per my interests and really knew his stuff. If you want first class customer service ask for Garrett.

Went here to inquire about a vehicle. There were two men in the lobby and they never said anything to us. No one greeted us or tried to say anything. Try another location if you can.
