The service department is amazing. They were able to squeeze me in so we were still able to leave for vacation on time. The tech Paul went above and beyond, he was awesome. Thank you to the entire service department.

This review makes me sad because I've had two really great Mazdas that I purchased from this dealership a 6 and a CX9. To be honest, this is not even worth the one star. I've slowly watched this dealership deteriorate and it's too bad because Mazda had built great vehicles. The customer service at this location is the absolute worst. You can never speak to anyone and they do not return calls or provide any sort of customer experience. Ross in sales attempted to assist me with a service call because I could not speak to anyone in the service department. The service Manager never returned any calls after repeated calls into the dealership. I will never take my Mazda to this dealership and I will never purchase a vehicle from this location again. It's only a matter of time before they close their Mazda service. It's a shame.

My daughter bought a car from Lafontaine Mazda used cars on May 4th 2023. On May 5th she took the car back in for service because she was smelling oil and the oil light was on. The car was there for five days. On June 2nd the car stopped running IN the intersection of M59 and Duck Lake Rd. We had the car towed to Lafontaine with the expectation that we would get some answers as to the problem with this vehicle. We have called over 60 times to Lafontaine sales and service and have only been able to leave a voice mail at the service department which has not been returned yet! We went in today to try and get some answers only to be told that the service records were not hard copy and the sales manager did not have access to the computer files. Still no answer, still no car. Since May 5th, Lafontaine has had the car 14 days and the first payment is due this Friday. Talk about disappointing. The service manager told us he would call in a couple of hours to let us know what he found out about the car from the service department. It's been five hours and no call. Still waiting to find out what they are going to do about this matter. He told us that Lafontaine put $3000 into this vehicle before they sold it to us. They never disclosed any of that. We were told it was a great vehicle. Great to look at, not to drive. See for yourself and give them a call. They don't answer their phones!

TLDR- My BRAND NEW car had a massive dent on the hood, as well as a malfunctioning seatbelt sensor in the back. Even with these issues, this dealership was not willing to help. The dealrship is difficult to work with, hard to communicate/reach, and will not help unless you constalty message them for help.I am quite disappointed in the experience of buying my first new car through Lafontaine Mazda and I wouldn't recommend this dealership.I had heard great things about the Lafontaine dealership, so I decided to purchase my first new vehicle through them. At first, they seemed kind as I drove off the lot with the car. When I got home, I noticed a huge dent on my brand new vehicle hood. When I contacted the sales person regarding this issue, they kept denying seeing the dent until I brought the vehicle in again to the dealership, which then they offered to fix it through the dealership.Other than the hood dent, the seatbelt sensor in the backseat is also malfunctioning and there is a massive gouge on the leather dash. For these inconvinences, when I asked for a compensation/complimentory serivce, they ignored my texts for days at a time. After going back and fourth for ~3 weeks, all they offered me was a $50 gas card. Quite realistically, the $50 gas does not even cover gas from the round trip to the dealership and to the bodyshop to fix a BRAND NEW car that came with defects. This dealership will continiously make excuses that the General Manager is busy and that they cannot help me, though they sold me a defect car.

The dealer sold me a new car with multiple defects, including obviously visible body and interior damages. I had to go through multiple trips and endless texting and phone calls to get the defect repair arrangement setup. Then, the dealer and sales person reluctantly (unwillingly) offer me $50 gas card after my over 4 weeks of stressful follow up time and effort. I would never recommend this dealer to any average person unless someone is willing and able to perform a deep-dive multi-point inspection by oneself to detect defects before signing the purchase agreement.

I walked in and met Garrett, when he realized he didn't have the car I wanted he found a dealership within the franchise that had my car and sent me to them. He offered great advice on options per my interests and really knew his stuff. If you want first class customer service ask for Garrett.

Went here to inquire about a vehicle. There were two men in the lobby and they never said anything to us. No one greeted us or tried to say anything. Try another location if you can.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They left a balance on my car and I've tried contacting them several times to no avail!

Small dealership; no inventory; you wait for hours while they try to juggle customers-very odd place.

I bought a Mazda CX nine with 9000 miles on it three months ago. The car has been making grinding noises for about a month and a half. They are very faint grinding noises by both myself and my wife noticed them and I do not believe this noise should be coming from a brand new car. I called to see if it could get checked out And the woman at the front desk said that she would need to charge me for the inspection to which I protested considering I had just bought the car. The manager got on and said he would allow for an inspection to see what the sound is. When I got there a guy named Joey Yacks was maybe the most rude person I've dealt with in any sales situation. He first accused me of not even driving the car because I couldn't tell whether the sound was coming from the front or the back of the car. I said, "we hear it ever time we pull out of the driveway." Then when I came to pick it up he basically accused me of lying to him. After he walked away from me I asked the cashier, "did he just accuse me of lying on to him." He heard from a different room and decided to open the window and try and give me a piece of his mind. To which I said, "I'm done talking to you." Then he said to me, "I'm done talking to you, GET LOST" while I was standing in the showroom. I had to take a day off work to get the car that I just spent 33,000 dollars for inspected just to get talked shit to by one of your employees. When I asked to speak to the manager the manager came out and acted like they had fine me a favor for inspecting my car that they had just sold me and didn't seem at all concerned with how Joey Yacks had spoken to me getting into an additional argument with me in the lobby. I personally have 3 employees at my business and couldn't imagine having one of them talk to any of my clients like that, let alone as management pretended like it was the customers fault. I literally was considering letting my wife use this car and buying another car. Not only would I never buy a car from hear again but I wouldn't suggest anyone deal with this type of customer service ever.
