I moved out of their home in 2022 and they never sent my security deposit saying I dropped the house key off 2days late. And that was after I discussed dropping it off to them. The lady was very racial and told me shes going to say I tore the house apart so they can keep my deposit for damages. Its been a year I never received anything regarding damages (that didnt exist) my deposit, pictures of damages or nothing. This place is very unprofessional and they will scam you out of your deposits!

So this is my 2nd review from my updated one. I was at that point without heating and cooling from Aug. 2022 it is now Nov. 2022 and I still have no heating in the home I'm in! My rent is paid! Always on time!!!! Never been late once! Never been behind once! So I do not understand why that at I am still without heat 4 months now?Whatever you do just don't rent from this place it's bad! If they could fix things in a timely manner and you was able to speak to someone (as I write that I laugh because that's the whole business of a management company) but they can't get their act together. Oh and last year Christmas Eve my heating unit went out as well and I had family in from around the country. We was without heat for the next month then too. I thought it was the holidays so I gave them grace and didn't write a review then. They had someone come out and "fix it" they never said a word to me and left. I thought they was going to get the part. No, they just left without fixing it and told proway they did so then I had to put another work order in letting them know it wasn't done and I was still without heat. They need to start getting companies out here that ain't the cheapest that will do the jobs right the first time. That way proway don't keep getting the same work orders over again. Nobody show be living like this...

You'd have to be really desperate to move into one of these houses. I reported a roof leak last winter, the water leaked on my bed causing black mold. They never fixed the issue so when the snow melted this year, my bed was completely drenched. They took weeks to fix the leak (they threw a tarp over the roof) and refuse to pay for a new bed. I went about 4 months with a power outage to half the house. There's an obvious oder of mold in the walls and they won't acknowledge it. They are a nightmare.

Have 3+ years dealing with Strategy Properties and it has been mostly negative. The 3 homes we have purchased were not turn key ready. Lead inspections were not properly completed and each property came with issues that were mostly not address properly. As a result costing us 10s of thousands to repair and get them compliant. On top of that their now shutdown property management company Proway was a disaster to work with. Taking up to 8 months to find a tenant for one of our properties. I would not recommend this company in any way. I will have a full detailed post of my experience of bigger pockets in the coming month.

This is by far the worst property management company I ever dealt with in my life. I’m so upset they don’t value you as customers. They never answer the phone. They are not the friendliest. I would say they have tried to resolve some of my issues but I had to call a million times just to get something resolved. You have toStay on them because if you don’t the will never call you. I even had to drive up to the office in Waterford from Detroit just to talk to a person face to face. They have decent houses. I read the reviews and ignored them. The communication is TEEEERIBLE. Autumn property management y’all need to get it together.

This company bought out the last company "pro-way property management" The same issues i was dealing with, with the last company i am still dealing with now. They have not addressed the plumbing issues, the drywall which has sepperated throughout the house, nor the many other issues this old property came with that i was unaware of before signing my lease. I signed a lease during covid after they told me the home was ready to be moved into. After my initial visit they promised to remove all of the trash outside of the home and what was left in the home. Never happened. The home was never even inspected come to find out due to covid and not being able to get an inspector onsight. The company tooks months to get me access to have my electricity put in my name on top of the fact due to damage to the roof there were animals within the home that needed to be evacuated. as a single father of 4 i have never felt more invaluable ever. looking to take legal action and home this company gets shut down. everyone that comes to look at the property takes pictures of all the damage then never returns. No one ever answers the phone and their charges for rent just to pay is outlandish. There communication is so bad i doubt they even respond to this review.

As a tenant who has paid rent of $1100 on time for 24 months, I have to say Strategy Properties AKA Proway Properties AKA Autumn Properties are a slumlord company, and very unprofessional. At this time the company wants to keep my $1650 security deposit and attach additional charges to a fully cleaned out move out, to charge me over $2000 in fee is mind blowing and LUDICROUS. I knew I was had when less than a year renting they change their company name and within my 24 month lease, it happens again a new company name. Sara Bell was my leasing agent, she seemed knowledgeable and wanting me to be a tenant and now she is promoted and her picture represents the company. However, she always ill and unable to be reached. Now my property manager, K. Gavin tells me it is in policy to do a walk through without the tenant, but I scheduled a meet time on my move out date and took off my job to find out and she bailed, telling me to leave the keys in the mailbox. I am attempting to resolve this extreme misunderstanding and I am awaiting calls from either Randy Sailor or Billy Johnstone to resolve. Its been 24 hour and I'm waiting and will not cease.

I applied for a house a few weeks back I have t heard anything. I have to call everyday to check on the status of my application. I leave my name and number every time I call yet I hear nothing from them on the following day. At this point I am counting it as a loss. Their site says you will get a response within 48 business days. I am still waiting. I just keep the same response that they are swamped. I am going to take this as a sign and move on. I wouldn’t apply here if I was you guys.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY . !!! I MEAN NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE IN THE LEASING OFFICE. THEY CHARGE $85 TO $100. DOLLAR IN LATE FEE DURING PANDEMIC .THIS IS RIDICULOUS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT SOMEONE IN CORPORATE . PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY I REPEAT DO NOT RENT. AND GOOD LUCK ON REACHING TO MAINTENANCE.

I was a client with Strategy for quite some time. My experience was incredibly rocky and I made the decision to sell. However - While the properties were for sale I was assigned a new manager which I found very frustrating at first because she was my third manager during my time with this company. Very quickly though Dana was able to show me that things had started to move in a more positive direction. Within that first week I had more communication with her and problem solving than I'd seen in the last year. While I did continue on with the sale Dana made the experience much more positive and left me with a better impression of the company than I had previously held. In the future I may actually consider purchasing new investments in Detroit if the direction of ProWay continues on in the same manner that Dana demonstrated to me during those last few months.

Long read but worth the warning **I’m truly disappointed in giving this company the benefit of the doubt after months of no communication and complete neglect. When I wrote my original review of complaints on this house(that I’ve only lived in for three months) I was contacted almost immediately to solve my issues, or so I thought. I had been trying to reach out to management since the first week of moving in due to: sparks flying out of the outlet, Going up to 4 days at a time without a Functioning toilet(multiple times) because of no communication, both sinks in the home leaking, which now has the bottom of my Kitchen sink falling apart and growing mold (yet to be replaced), locks broken, garage not locking, mildew smell through out the entire house due to the sewage sitting underneath the house in the crawl space(According to their plumber), to the most recent issue; our a/c unit (which is provided with the home- built into the wall) is draining like a faucet out the front of the unit into our home which is directly above an outlet and causing damage to my brand new couch and the wood floors. They have completely disregarded yet another dangerous situation for myself and my family. Once posting my review (after making endless calls, texts, and online complaints) someone in a higher management position (Al Bazzy) reached out and assured me that he would change my mind about this company. I trusted that he was going to follow through with that promise and to no surprise I have been failed yet again. He called and asked me to change my review after making some changes to the property and I agreed, as I felt like he was at least making my property a priority when no one else had. At this point, I changed my review and communication has become less and less since then. We are on day four of no air conditioning and its completely soaking my couch. I’ve reached out to Al Bazzy several times with calls, texts, and video footage to at least remove the unit since it is damaging my personal property. Since then he made it clear that “He would help me out this time but they don’t maintain or replace the units they provide”. I’ve accepted that and simply asked to have it removed so we can replace it and not cause any further damage to my property or something worse, since It doesn’t take a genius to know electricity and water don’t mix. This is just a brief description of all the stress this management company has caused us. I will be rescheduling an appointment with The city of Livonia’s inspector as this house is obviously not up to code and this company refuses to do their job to ensure my family has a safe place to live. Save yourself the headache and think twice before getting involved with this company. It has been a complete disaster in just three short months.

I love the home I'm renting and the area I'm renting in. I've been here almost 3 years and plan to stay. However, I've struggled with ProWay's maintenance team until yesterday. The company experienced some turnover and then COVID hit; they were completely overwhelmed. Some repair work I received was less than stellar. That is, until they hired Jaron. He was timely, personable, professional, and efficient. He took care of all of my maintenance concerns and assured me that the final one would require services better suited for a separate appointment. Very, very pleased to have Jaron aboard.
