I took my boots in for my first cleaning/conditioning service. I’m not familiar with the process. I purchased my boots at the Garden City location. I live down the street from the 5 mile location and was off work for the weekend so I figured I’d save a trip and bring them there. What a mistake I made…. I brung them in and told the lady I wanted my boots serviced very respectfully and politely as I always am. I asked how long would the process take. She told me 5-6 minutes. I told her I was going to wait in my truck. She said there was no need to I could just wait inside. Less then 2 minutes later she came from the back with my boots dripping in oil still dirty! She didn’t clean them, only poured an outrageous amount of oil over them! I believe they’re ruined at this point because you’re definitely not supposed to coat the dirt in oil. I called corporate and reported the 5 mile location in Livonia, letting them know how completely dissatisfied and angry I was due to my boots being still dirty and drenched in oil. I paid almost $350 for these great boots. I’m a working man and work hard for my money. I would strongly encourage anyone reading this to go to the Garden City location and deal with Anthony or anyone else at that shop. They are extremely professional and are passionate about their job.

Huge shout-out to Kelly Reich for the best boot-buying experience I’ve ever had. He really took the time to understand what I needed, offered thoughtful guidance, and made sure I left with the perfect pair. If you're looking for someone who actually cares, ask for him.

Never had a pair of wings before. Kelly was awesome, helped me find a good pair of new boots based on what I need them for, measured my feet and picked out some good insoles, gave me instructions on how to help the leather loosen up so it can break in. 10/10 great experience. Will definitely be back. What a great first experience with red wings shoes.

Stopped into the Livonia store today on a whim. One of the nicest people I've ever met, named Pamela, was working. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I was amazed by the technology she used to diagnose our foot issues. She found us the perfect solution to our foot pain. We left with inserts and shoes, feeling great not only because we were in less pain, but also because we had a great experience with Pam.

Pamela White helped me with a new style of boot for a career change. Sized perfect and style adjusted with a new type of insert. I couldn't be happier on the fit and a comfort. Pam was so polite, respectful and just a very pleasant person to chit chat with.

The one star is for the salesperson inside of the store. this was the worst experience I've ever had buying a $317 pair of boots the salesperson treated me like I had covid or something wouldn't show me how to operate the boots wouldn't show me the boot it self, I mean he was standoffish, yes I am a black man and yes he was a young white guy but it was the worst experience ever, he does not need to work with customer service anywhere if that's how he feels it was the Livonia store on 5 Mile and Middlebelt.

Took my boots in to get tough toe applied .. the cobbler was extremely proficient typical wait in was expecting a day or so though I've been told a week before.. this gentleman had by boots done before I was able to finish my second beer I'll be going to .. to redwings and the bar.

There is not enough stars i give them 10 stars out of 5. Absolute Perfection you definitely will not find a better place to care for them hard working feet. All I can say is I will never go anywhere but here. The sales associate Pamela was absolutely amazing professional and especially when I walked in after a rough day at work where nothing seemed to go right, and with my feet still soaked from the hard rainy day. She was extremely patient and knew exactly what to do to find my previous choices that I couldn't remember. Pamela eased my indecisive mind and make a new choice that fits my job and lifestyle so much better. She made me feel this location will go above and beyond to take care of their customers with kindness, patience, professionalism, and respect. I promise that this store cares for them hard working soles with their soul.

Associates we’re pretty good at the store. I only seen one disappointment. I asked for original boot laces and got the aftermarket ones they give for free but other than that, the boots turned out good from the repair shop.

Fantastic customer service! Pamela was the only one there, yet managed to acknowledge each of us and then provide service to four different customers in quick succession.
She brought me suggestions based on styles I had chosen, and was very patient and kind as I waffled on my decision. In the end I decided on a pair she picked for me to try.
I highly suggest this location if you want quality footwear and stellar customer service: go see Pamela! I will most certainly shop here again.

Excellent customer service. I came in with a pair of work boots to get clean/repaired but they said the damage was beyond repairable they were nice enough to replace my old damaged boots with a brand new pair free of charge thanks to my warranty.
