Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our 15 year old kitten yesterday. Grand River was able to get me a same day (morning appointment) for her to be euthanized so that she didn’t have to suffer any longer. I was very impressed with how respectful the workers were of the process. I would highly recommend Grand River, and plan to use them for future veterinary visits.

I've been going to Grand River vet for the past 11 years and couldn't recommend them enough. All of the doctors are great, but I've worked closely with Dr Zech and Dr Case with all three of my cats. Dr Zech worked with me on my older cat, Dr Zech was kind, honest and extremely knowledgeable. When it came time to say goodbye, Dr Zech was the one to assist in the process and she was such a comfort to be with and explained to me what was happening each step of the way. Dr Case has taken such great care of my two younger cats. Both of them have chronic diseases and Dr Case showed so much empathy, expertise, and provided thorough education on what to expect and solutions to problems. She worked closely with me while one of my cats became sick and provided him excellent medical care and communicated with us each step of the way.All of the staff have treated me and my pets with dignity and respect and understood that they are our family. I cannot recommend them enough :)

We recently moved to lowell and had to find a new vet for our pets, and I am so glad I found this place. I could not be more pleased with the customer service. The staff is friendly and seem to genuinely care. I also like the option to wait in my car and be called in rather than waiting in a lobby- less stressful for the animals.

I’m happy that this practice works as a team between two or three DVM’s. I’m not sure if this is something that makes others comfortable as it does me. I’m not thrilled with having to text or call before going into the Lobby. However, I believe this could work to an advantage if you’re using this protocol for the safety of animals and clients who may feel uncomfortable around larger or diseased or not-yet-vaccinated animals. So, I wouldn’t call these Covid protocols. Use this to yours and your customers’ advantage as a way to keep your animals and clients safe. If I am bringing in a fecal sample or picking up a medication you should welcome people to walk in, unless you want to call your waiting outside protocol something necessary unless it’s an emergency. Otherwise, this veterinary hospital meets my expectations. In addition, if you’re going outside your hours of operation, your staff needs to inform clients that they may have to seek out an emergency vet. Furthermore, you may be misleading customers with the name of GRV Hospital. If you can’t take in clients 24/7, you may seriously consider changing the name GRV clinic, instead of hospital. These are my observations and suggestions from reading reviews and personal experience. God Bless!

Have been going here for years and they used to be good customer service. Now we have to wait in the car until they are ready. On the last visit we waited 20 minutes while it was 84 degrees with no answer to the phone and no reply to our texts before we left. It only takes a few seconds to respond to a text. We will look for somewhere that values our time as much as we do.

What a great team of veterinary care professionals! I have had the pleasure of working with Grand River on many pet referrals over the years that needed help with behavior treatment. I had the chance to meet with the staff this past week and was very impressed with their compassion for pets and desire to always learn more and apply low stress/ fear free behavior techniques for pet visits and for their team.

Rescued a 4 week old kitten in the middle of the road and this was the closest hospital to take him that was readily available. Super friendly, Extremely helpful and informative on how to nurse the kitten back to full health.
