The Lamplighter Bed & Breakfast is a charming and beautiful home, offering a delightful and unforgettable stay. It is widely considered the epitome of a B&B experience. The location in Ludington is great, convenient, and walkable to the town, stores, restaurants, the water, and Stearns Park Beach. It is also a perfect base for adventures like hiking in Ludington State Park, visiting Big Sable Point Lighthouse, or seeing Sleeping Bear Dunes. The hosts are exceptional, kind, and welcoming, having thought of everything one needs. Their hospitality is wonderful, turning a simple getaway into a treat. Guests receive great recommendations for local visits. The home is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, quiet, and in very good condition. Rooms are cozy, clean, and adequate, with plush beds and soft pillows. While located on a fairly busy street, noise does not reach into the house. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, artfully prepared, and a five-star experience, with items like strawberry biscuits to die for. There is also a 24/7 coffee, tea, and cocoa bar with a yummy dessert. The hosts go above and beyond, even providing early bagged breakfasts. It is a wonderful, comfortable, and exceptional place where guests plan to visit again.

Great location in Ludington, walkable to the water and town stores and restaurants. Hosts were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was very good—quiche, salad, fruit. Got some great recommendations for local visits in the area from the hosts. We had a smaller room but it was comfortable and adequate for us. Great stay.
