I met all requirements for a Chase business bonus but was denied unfairly. After proving my eligibility, the bank changed the rules retroactively. As a long-time customer, I feel deceived. Hoping Chase will make this right.
I have been a loyal Chase customer for decades, but my experience with the New Hudson branch has been extremely disappointing.
In June 2024, I opened a Chase Business Checking account after seeing a $750 bonus offer on the Chase app. The terms required me to deposit $30,000 and maintain the balance for 3 months, which I did—depositing $100,000 on June 27, 2024, and keeping the balance above $30,000 ever since.
When I did not receive the bonus, I contacted customer service on January 22, 2025, and was told to speak with the branch where I opened the account. I then spoke with Travis, who denied the promotion ever existed and repeatedly asked for a coupon, which was never part of the offer. I had to prove the program existed with online evidence on February 6, 2025, at which point Travis admitted I was eligible—but only offered me $500 instead of $750.
After weeks of follow-ups, he finally agreed that I met all the qualifications. However, now he claims that I needed 5 transactions, something that was never disclosed when I opened the account. There is no paperwork proving this was ever explained to me.
I feel completely misled and deceived. Chase is a trusted bank, but this experience makes me question their business practices. Changing the rules retroactively and withholding a promised bonus is unacceptable.
I hope Chase will do the right thing and honor their promotion. Otherwise, I will have to escalate this issue further.

I had an interview at this location. That was set up at 3 pm. The interviewer did not call at 3 but called at 3:30. I took time off work to do this interview I told the interviewer I didn’t have time to talk after 3:30. She agreed to call me the next day at 5:30. At about 5:15 the next day I received an email that said the position had been canceled because business needs had changed. Very unprofessional if your business needs change don’t waste peoples time by not interviewing them. I also moved my money out of this bank! After their unprofessional conduct I didn’t even want the job! Zero starts if I could!

First time that I needed a check canceled so I called the branch to inquire about how that works. They told me to come in or call the 800#. The next day I decided to come into the branch to cancel it, so I called to ask what I needed to cancel the check. I got Michelle and she told me just my DL. When I arrived and they proceeded to cancel the check they made me aware of the $35 fee. It would have been nice if on one of the 2 phone calls this was explained. I asked the manager Michelle to please waive it, she told me I didn’t ask about the fee so she cannot waive. Not only was Michelle condescending but extremely rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Worst branch . No respect for customers time . Took 345 appointment time for a small task of notary . Made us Wait 20 mins and did not address us. Not sure why they gave appointment if they can adhere . Had to leave as have to pick up kids .

I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone on the phone to help me with some questions. I have called multiple times and the phone menu takes you in circles and then hangs up, it won't put me through to actually speak to anyone.

Last week, I had to go in and talk to someone about my account. Laura C. (Officer)was very helpful. I enjoyed talking to her and she explained things very well. I will come back to this branch again. I've only been in there twice.
