Amazing store, amazing staff. Olivia and Jeff are superstars when it comes to customer experience and service. They go above and beyond to make sure you get the shoes you need. I’ll be waiting until I come back up here to get more Birkenstocks! Happy Happy to get some shoes!

We came in 6-7-25 to just look around and workers there were super pushy people to sell you something. make you feel like you have to buy something at the same time she wasn’t friendly at all. i understand it’s a store but let me look and try things on at my own pace and peace. She never did once tell me the price until towards the end again very pushy and making me feel like i had to. Super expensive. After all said and done i realized i made a mistake buying these sandals then while returning another worker was asking if i wore them simply said no because i walked like 5 stores down thinking i made a mistake then says they don’t normally return shoes but did so anyway for me. I understand if they been used or it’s been days since purchased but it was not more than 10 min that i returned them. I would not go back to expensive, pushy workers making you FEEL like you have to purchase something and just not nice attitudes overall.

We found an awesome pair of sandals for only $60 that are super cute and perfect for summer on the island. We also had excellent service - I would definitely shop here again!!

My new favorite Birkenstock store of all time!!! The owner opened early for Labor Day, and I was able to go in and meet him before we left the Island. He was so kind and helpful!! Loved buying several of the Birkenstock t-shirts that his daughter designed!! Bought myself 3 pairs of shoes that I’d been eyeing for a while just because I loved his knowledge of the product. I’m an avid Life time wearer of Birkenstocks, and he even taught me a thing or two about the product that I didn’t even know! He doesn’t know it, but this visit to Birkenstock store was the highlight of my 40th Birthday trip!!!
He gave me his website info so that I can order from Georgia too now!!! Must visit if on the Island! ??

We didn't purchase shoes here but I will tell you this is the only store on the island that sells any type of athletic sock! We looked everywhere we could think of

Always a wonderful experience. The staff is always helpful. We always buy a pair of Birkenstock sandals when we are on the island.

The two shop attendants seemed most concerned w ringing people up versus helping anyone. It was impossible to figure out what was available/sizes/colors/cost. Wow the tourists must just buy whatever? Lame

I'm sorry to say my experience was not what I'd expected. Or what I would expect from a dealer of Birkenstock I was in on 7-23- 23 in the early afternoon and it was busy but the girl working that shift was very helpful. However we really didn't have time at that point to make a final decision, so we told her we'd be back before they close. We came in and a different girl was working and I thought I remembered the size I needed. Paying almost 150.00 for a pair of shoes only to find out that I needed a size up after we got home. (As far south michigan from the island) It was raining so much while we were there I didn't want them to get wet, so I waited until I got home. I wore them around the house and called on the 25th to ask if I could send them back for an exchange. The girl said a manager would get back to me that day, she didn't know how to handle this and they didn't get back to me this day. Employees should have a little empowerment, I mean it was an exchange. I know it's a busy time of year for them so, I waited until the 27th and called again with no response. I agian followed up again on the 31st and I was told that a manager would get back with me. Giving all my info to give me a call back. I got a text saying "Hello this is mackinac Birkenstock. Please send me pictures of shoes. I can't return shoes that have been worn and all sales are final." However no one told me this and I have been waiting since the 25th of July to get a response on how to exchange. I have been able to with Birkenstock directly on purchases with them. I didn't get a response back after sending pictures of shoes. So I'm still not sure if I will be able to exchange or not. If so that would be great! And I would change my rating to a 5 star, even with the delays in communication from them. That's all I was asking for in the first place. It's unfortunate but I'm not sure I'd shop with them again. I love the shoes and would love to just exchange them. Not trying to get anything out of it but the correct size. So be sure you double and triple check before your purchase and make sure that, that's your size and then make your purchase.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I’ve only had good experiences here. I’ve shopped here 2 years in a row. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their shoes. I’ll be back next year!
