Based on the reviews, Mackinac Wheels offers excellent service and really fair pricing. The people and prices are great, and for the money, it is definitely the best on the island. The workers are super helpful and kind. They go above and beyond to fix everything that is wrong for a very reasonable price. They saved one customer’s vacation by fixing a jammed chain and bent derailleur. The store explains the whole rental process, including that you do not need to know how long you want to rent for. They ask about routes to give a different bike for hills or biking around town. They add on a basket complimentary and have a tire pump. If anything goes wrong, customers can call and they will come to you. For repairs, they fixed a loosened fender within an hour. The bikes themselves are just OK, with only 7 speeds, but they work and are fairly comfortable.

The people and prices were great. For the money, definitely the best on the island. The bjkes were just OK. They only have 7 speeds, no 21 speeds available. They worked and were fairly comfortable however.

These guys saved my vacation! Got my bike off the ferry and somehow my chain got jammed between the frame and sprocket and my derailing was bent

Locally owned, friendly staff, cheaper than renting from a shop in the heart of downtown.
