I brought my 9 yr old granddaughter in for a cut before school starts, told the person on the phone put it down for adult price because she has long thick hair& she said ok and they would adjust it to child price if appropriate but with her hair and length of it I knew it should be same as a adult. I was shocked when she started the cut without shampooing her hair and told her I expected her to wash her hair first. She said the shampoo area wasn’t available it had closed around noon (this was at 3:30 pm) which made no sense and there were other clients there. I talked to the girl at the desk who said it was because she wasn’t tall enough and the water would just go all over and she would get all wet, (she’s 4ft 7 in ) not much shorter than myself.
I told her Laure had had several haircuts before at area salons (Flux, Bianchi’s, Tangled Mane, Bocci’s, Penney’s) and has had her hair shampooed at every one of those salons.
I made an appointment with BA because they were able to take her same day.
Also another employee came by who I’m not sure but may have been the owner who said well it was because it was a child cut so less money and I told her I informed the girl on the phone when I scheduled the appointment to charge as a adult due to her having long hair. For a young girl getting her hair done is a very special event and I would expect her to get the same treatment as I would get myself. All in all not a good experience, very disappointing and definitely not very honest since we were given 3 different reasons from different people as to why it wasn’t possible to do a shampoo before a haircut. Personally I believe when I scheduled the appointment they just figured she was a kid so they would just get her in and out in a hurry with very little attention.
Never again.

I am not usually one to take the time to leave reviews. But my experience was so good I feel the need to. The salon is beautiful and welcoming on the inside as soon as you walk in. Alayna and I clicked right away and she made sure to take expert care of me from start to finish. Every employee I encountered radiated kindness, and they were willing to go above and beyond what any other place has done to accommodate me with my disabled body. I feel rejuvenated and my hair has never been silkier. I will absolutely be coming back again and again and I cannot reccomend this salon and Alayna enough. She made me comfortable from the moment I sat down and took excellent care kf me through my wash, cut, and style. She gave me good advice as well on hair maintenence and I could definitely tell she knew her business well. 10/10. Not to mention INSANELY affordable!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this salon! I came in for hair styling tips and product recommendations with Naomi, and makeup application tips with Madisen. Naomi was fantastic—she showed me how to tame my unruly hair and recommended the perfect products tailored to my specific hair needs. Madisen was equally amazing. She walked me through different makeup application techniques and had me try them myself to make sure I was doing it correctly.
It’s rare to find a place that takes the time to teach you how to style your own hair or apply makeup properly. Having the option for a hands-on training session is a total game changer. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and supported from the moment I walked in.
Highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to feel more confident in their daily beauty routine. You’ll feel right at home here!

Always a great experience with Naomi! She’s not only talented and consistent, but also takes the time to really listen to what you want and makes sure you leave feeling your best. Her attention to detail, easygoing personality, and ability to bring your vision to life are what keep me coming back.

Had viking braids done by Naomi as a gift from my family for an event. They turned out EPIC and I couldn't have been happier with the result!! She was so creative and professional! I literally looked like I belonged on a movie set!! When it was time to remove the braids, I actually cried because I felt like a Queen. Not having felt that way in years due to financial circumstances, I was sad to go back to the way I was before I entered BA SALON. Then, a miracle happened. Naomi offered to have an apprentice trim, wash and blow out my hair for no extra money, stating that they would not be meeting their Mission Statement of creating individuals who feel empowered and beautiful. I was shocked. This salon and everyone employed here are beautiful inside and out, but, I have to say.. Naomi, the Owner, is EXTRAORDINARY. There truly is a reason for all the 5 star reviews and I would recommend this FULL SERVICE Salon to everyone!! I sincerely wish that someday, somehow Naomi and her talents carry her to work directly for Tim Burton. SO HAPPY WITH MY HAIR!!!!

Got a wash and a blow out from Naomi. Absolutely loved it! I have very straight fine hair, and she was so knowledgeable about my hair type and made a couple product recommendations without being pushy. Her salon is very cool too. Great vibes. Lots of knowledge about what she’s doing.

This salon is one of the best I have been to. Naomi not only gives you the hair of your dreams but the fun and comfortable atmosphere is great for all. I've never felt so welcomed as a customer as I do there. Another great thing about the salon is that they can provide professional services as well as avante garde or unique styling or coloring. I've not seen a salon that takes it to their service to another level like BA Salon. A+++ rating!

madisen is awesome and i adore her. she looked at my reference pictures told me what we were gonna do and made sure i was good with everything along the way. she told me what every product was when she used it and what it was for!!! sweetest person ever i am so glad i came (-:
