“This is for the Marathon on the Northwest corner of Hall rd and Romeo Plank, that used to be a great Speedway (that was until the manager Jaime was relocated to a different Speedway , she was the ABsolute best-est person I'd ever met) Needless to say it's been quite a while since this station had been run right. The inmates ran the place into the ground from lack of cohearant leadership or lack of pride in their environment from the revolving door of employees. Recently this place was switched over to Marathon (Rebel owned station) and the beginning months there were big hiccups with ordering things like cups n straws to cigarettes yet no one could figure out what was going wrong. The rest of the building was getting gunky and was an embarassment to look at. But a few weeks ago they got a new management team, I thought 'here we go the final nail in this barrel before they throw it over the cliff. But I am happy to say I was wrong, these ladies , Michelle and Sarah came in took over and started my favorite gas station back on the road to recovery in just ONE week!!! started looking into the stocking and staffing issues the other put on the HazMat suit n started deep cleaning everything! the mystery smell by the coolers went away, nothing is sticky anymore even the cob web stuff hanging from the ceiling disappeared. Not ONCE since they took over have I had to ask for cups or stuff to fill the open slots to help out in case the staff was over whelmed and needed a hand ( I'll always lend my friends a hand if they need it and have helped out here for a buncha years when they need it) . These ladies are on top of it now, So they get 5 stars.. but the rating you gave is 4 stars Dave care to elaborate? Sure , they take a slight hit because of some of the staff they inherited from the previous regimes. Sometimes there hasn't been anyone in to open the store in the mornings and that's a huge disappointment to those of us who run errands in the early part of the day n grab a coffee or something then stop in again on our way to work say mid day, I can only imagine how much $$ was lost due to no one being here.It's nice to see someone(s) taking Pride in their work place again, let's hear it for old school values in the new era... Thank you Michelle and Sarah keep the trend and the good work going”

To access the fuel points, you now have to tell them how much of the cents off you want from the total you have, and lately, the card readers don't work. The staff is great though...patient, helpful, and kind. The people who work there keep me coming back.”

“Best gas station I have ever been to!! The workers there are absolutely amazing and so understanding! I had an issue about something and one of the workers helped me through it without any complaints. At another gas station, the employee was so rude and didn’t even help me. This gas station, Sunoco, on 22 Hayes Road, is also very neat and organized. Everything is easy to find and nothing was out of place. If I couldn’t find something, one of the workers would help me find it. In addition, this outstanding gas station’s employees have conversations with their customers. I have never seen this at another place! The conversations go back and forth. The employee doesn’t lack interest in the conversation, and I think that is incredible!! One of my favorite things about this gas station is the fact that if the store owner is out of something, you can tell one of the workers at this gas station that they are out of it, and they will order more and restock the shelves! Every single one of the employees at this gas station is an absolute pleasure to have as a cashier. I would 100% recommend this gas station to anyone you know! This is the best gas station I’ve ever been to, totally going to become a regular customer, and I think you should too!!”

“I went for gas and when I entered to pay I was Greeted with a smile and welcoming voice. It happened that the owner was there. He showed interest and took me around the store showing me the various goods and services they offer. He was the kindest. I would visit this place whenever I am In the area.”

“Tons of free parking. Accepts both cash and credit card. Just your typical 7 eleven chain. Opens 24hours and the staff here was nice and friendly. We came here to grab a couple of quick grocery items. Please note that they don't carry organic milk if you are looking for that. Otherwise, tons of drinks and snacks. The store is about the same size as any typical 7 eleven chain. Overall, not bad if you want to grab a quick snack. They also have a gas station there so you can grab a quick snack while fueling up. Gas prices are very comparable to the other gas stations in the area.”

“Yesterday (3 Jun 22), stopped to gas up my motorcycle. Never got gas at this place before. Gas pump read $27.00 for Supreme ar $5.69 a gallon. No problem. Got home to see notification of credit card pending $125.00!! Can't dispute it because I didn't go in to get a receipt, since pump didn't print one. My fault for not getting receipt. Tried calling 7-11 to get yesterday's receipts. No answer. I guess I blessed someone with $98.00 worth of gas! Enjoy!UPDATE: Owner of 7-11 emailed me about my issue. She explained that some companies place a "hold" amount on credit cards while the actual purchase amount is pending. Instant relief there. Then, she told me to call her cell phone when the pending charge is complete, and if it's for more than $27.00, she'd fix the issue. Yesterday, I received an account update that my credit card was charged only $27.00. So, 5-stars (instead of the 1-star i gave previously on 3 Jun) for the owner's immediate response and for taking a personal interest in wanting to help me fix the issue. Now, THAT'S customer service!”
