Would not recommend having your taxes done here they are very rude they are not interested in helping you at all They are not even willing to answer a question for you. They will tell you that you have to go online if you need a question asked .They will over talk you they will not even listen to what you are trying to say or ask the lady on the phone said the only way she would even answer my questions I would have to pay the 300 hundred dollars and that's the lowest fee to get your taxes done or even for her to answer a couple questions for you.But when sign up with the hnr block app it says you can call up if you have any questions. She said she can't answer any questions you have to go online and chat with someone there that it's not her job to help you.People suck these days!!!No one's nice anymore!!!!!

So I had just called with a question at this location to see how much they would charge me to do my 2021 taxes. I was told that they could not answer my question I would have to come in bring the paperwork and pay them $50 to have my question answered. And then it was offered to me that my taxes would be done free. So I am completely confused and don't understand anything that just happens because all I wanted was a simple question of the pricing however I could not get that answered and I'm not paying them $50 to get that answered weird. And on top of that I was waiting on hold and she didn't even say hello when she picked up the phone and was very Spacey and had to ask someone else to help assist me but she was a tax preparation person. However the greatest thing there is Beverly the receptionist, professional wonderful happy person who knew her job and did it perfectly. Five stars for Beverly zero for Mary and H&R Block

I was sent an advertisement for the emerald card and the only information provided was that there was no credit check and to schedule an appointment for more information.I arrived at the appointment and did not have all the necessary documents required (because required documents were not stated beforehand) and I had to return home to get the documents and come back to the location after.The agent I spoke with, Kevin Mathews, did not seem very interested in my business or me wasting my time. I was informed I had to have a MyBlock account, which I already had as I have been using H&R Block for my taxes since 2004. A second account was setup instead of using my existing account (multiple emails went out stating I had created a new account and it was ready for use) and then I was promptly denied on the credit check. I found this to be very surprising because their advertisement specifically stated in bold lettering that there was no credit check. Kevin mumbled something about no credit check only being for the pre-qualification and was incredibly apathetic and sent me on my way. This customer of almost two decades will be finding another company to handle my taxes going forward due to the misleading and untruthful advertising and poor customer service.

Cathleen Apley is amazing and honest! She will provide the best feedback and advice regarding your taxes. Beverly (front desk) is an absolute gem and is an incredibly warm and helpful individual! I would recommend these H&R staff to all family and friends
