Kroger has lost my business because of this store. Not that they need it. I'm tired of playing guessing games about what's on sale. Even when it's marked digital coupons they don't put it into their system. If you like guessing games this is your place.

I’ve been shopping at the Kroger on 21 Mile and Card Road for years, but unfortunately, the quality of this store has really declined under the current management. The dairy and meat sections are constantly stocked with expired products—it’s shocking how often this happens. It feels like they don’t even bother to check expiration dates, which is a serious health concern.
On top of that, the overall cleanliness of the store has gone downhill. It used to be well-maintained, but now it feels neglected. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here unless you’re willing to risk food poisoning. Management needs to step up and address these issues before they lose more loyal customers.

I’d give a zero if I could. First time stopping in. stopped by to purchase lotto tickets for my work holiday party this morning at 7:43 AM. The machine displayed a message to “see associate,” so I inquired at the service counter. Unfortunately, the response I received was disappointing. The associate mentioned she was busy and would turn the machine on after finishing her task, which appeared to involve wiping the counter. She also stated it wouldn’t be until after 8:00 AM and suggested I visit the gas station if I needed something.
As someone with 17 years of retail experience, I found this interaction surprising, especially at the service desk. Customer service is crucial, and interactions like this can erode loyalty. I hope the team can be coached on handling situations more professionally or placed in roles that better suit their strengths. Sadly, I don’t plan to visit this location again.

Average Kroger, But Alex who usually works at self-check out always makes it better! He is an exceptional worker and his Customer service is Outstanding. He’s always attentive and so kind! Please give this man a raise

This location always has the freshest produce & meat selection! It’s always clean and everything is usually in stock.
The only bad thing I have to say is about a deli worker. She’s an older white woman and it just so happens she’s working every time I need something from the deli and I dread it. She needs to be working somewhere where she NEVER interacts with customers. She is always so negative and honestly it’s bad for business. I don’t even know her name but I bet you if management is reading this they know who I’m talking about. She’s like that with her coworkers as well.

God forbid you try to walk down an aisle when a worker is trying to restock. They will glare at you whilst huffing and puffing while pushing their cart full of boxes out of your way. Disgusting behavior.

Bathrooms are DISGUSTING. Parking lot is too small. The one sided security entrance is obnoxious when I just stop in for a Starbucks. Employees stand in the middle of the aisle with giant order carts for pickups. Carts pile up at the exit. Store is a mess. Employees leave freezer doors open. Not sure if they have air conditioning, I sweat every time and packages are soggy from humidity. Switched to 23 and Hayes even though this one is closer

Deli Department needs improvement. No numbers to take. Employees do not acknowledge you. Customers stand around confused on who is next.

The troll Barb is at this location so I try to avoid this location at all cost if possible. She's rude, nasty, self-centered and stuck up, and nothing but a bully. I feel bad for the staff working under her supervision. Other than that the store is the average Kroger store. Rainbows and butterflies, and making customers ring up their own groceries....
And all these five star reviews I think our Kroger bots just lifting up the store because Kroger corporate is nothing but mindset of rainbows and butterflies because of their corporate greed

I have been coming to this location for over 15 years, the last year or two the service has become non existent. They never have enough registers open and now you have to wait in line longer than it takes to get your items, they also refuse to have all of the self checks open because they say they don’t have the staff but it looks like its strictly cost savings. They will then magically open more registers when enough people complain. Kroger used to have good pricing as well but now meijer undercuts them on everything with better service. Sorry Kroger you messed up.
