Overall, the service was smooth. They had to perform a double recalibration on my car. During the driving portion, my vehicles light settings were changed even though they were set to automatic. The seat position changed the driver's side, side-mirror was facing down, and the radio volume was turned up from where I left it. I found it a bit unprofessional that everything wasn't set back to where I had it.

Safelite is nothing but a voicemail hell labyrinth. You go online and they tell you to call. You call, and they tell you to go online. Just give me a human. Called out to a Mom and Pop Shop in Serling Heights and a real live person picked up and told me to come in first thing in the morning. Safelite is trying TOO hard to save money by hiring technicians and NOBODY to deal with their customers. Fancy jingles do not a good business make. Notice that they don't respond to complaints when they advertise that their crack repairs are warrantied, and then they don't honor it. Zero credibility. And NO, Dennis, they don't operate this business like I'd like a business to operate. Good businesses are built on Customer Focus, and relationships. Safelite can't even be bothered to pick up the phone.

When I scheduled my replacement. On the site I was asked about specifications on my windshield. To which I answered YES. The technician showed up, replaced the windshield with an after market windshield. Which would be fine, normally. However, if I’m asked specifics about what I want and they decide to not replace with what I had asked for 1 week prior to them replacing it.I did not get a call about the change. Again, typically I would just brush it off, but since their website itself asks the consumer about specifications. I find this unacceptable. When I spoke with Mary at the office. She continued to speak over me and not let me say a word. After I told Mary “let me know when you’re done talking so I can ask a question”. In a completely irritated and unprofessional tone told me she was getting a manager. I found this rather comical since I couldn’t say a word because she continued to talk over me. Very unprofessional staff.

Unprofessional costumer service or the rep on the phone demanding a card on hold for an appoint etc. They act like they are the only people who install windows. Don't waste your time with these people go else where! No wonder they have poor ratings!!!

Safelite came out and replaced the windshield on my truck...which went good. But, technician didn't latch my hood. Jumped in my truck 3 days later, hood flew up and damaged good/hinges . Safelite refuses to cover the damages. What a joke this company is. Will not use them again.

People this business is a business. They operate like you'd like a business to operate. You come in for a service or product they ask a few question tell you what's next and then deliver what you asked for. If you want more buy the business otherwise be thankful they care and do great work to help you with YOUR problem. They are all great but hats off to Josh who knock it out the park.

We had a chip in our truck windshield. Made an appointment online because you cannot get a human on the phone to save your life to schedule an appointment. Either way, got the appointment, had the repairs done, and was told that there was a warranty with the work. Fast forward, we now have another crack in the windshield, in the same place, and still cannot get a human on the phone. Constantly being directed to the website then get hung up on. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I would not recommend them for anything and will never use their company again.

Update: December 31, 2022--- I had an issue with the wipers after the installation which also happened when I had this car in Roseville. I couldn't reach them directly via phone coz I always get connected to the standard recorded message so I drove straight to Safelight instead and was glad I was accommodated by the same male personnel. He had it fixed right away. I was out of there in no time. Still happy overall with their service and customer service.--------------------------------------4th job for this year, 2022. Twice in Roseville, 1 at home (Mobile replacement) and this latest one in Macomb. A+ experience so far. Calibration for Camera safety system so far have no issues and working perfectly. Macomb personnel were friendly as well and I'm specifically talking about the male personnel.

Came out to fix a 3" crack in windshield. Dave came out and said he "may be able to do it". He tried, looks ok from outside , get in when raining and low light, crack it still there like nothing was done. Later that night there was a new square shaped crack to the left of where he " repaired" it. Turns out repairs aren't warranty like invoice says, only overpriced windshields are. By all means, avoid SAFELITE !!! They are overpriced and I've never heard of a satisfied customer. Avoid them at all cost!!!!

Good luck if you have to deal with the older lady with the curly blonde hair at the front desk. She’s not a nice person. Ask to talk to someone other than her, she’ll ruin your day.

Booking an appointment online was simple and easy. When I arrived at the location the staff was very friendly and professional. Had me in and out quick.
