I needed a battery replaced at the last minute and charli stopped what he was doing to help . He was efficient and professional, and even helped me install wiper blades. I was told by a friend to use this store and ask for him.

I woke up Sunday to go to work and when I got in my Trax it hesitated to start. During my lunch I ran to Auto Zone cause it was right around the corner and they couldn't change out the battery cause there was only 2 employees. So I drove the three miles to Auto Zone and they help with no hesitation. Sold me battery and put in my Trax for me. And there was only 2 employees there to. But the never hesitated or said they couldn't help me. I should have known better and went to Auto zone first. Working till 10 p m. And having dialysis first thing in the morning I needed my battery changed today. Thank you so much Auto Zone on 11 Mile and John R. You kind and amazing service saved me. I'm grateful and will always go to AutoZone for my cars needs.

Just moved to Michigan after graduating from college. Was stranded because my car battery died and Tony drove to jump my car so I could drive it back and get a new battery. Amazing service and really nice people. I highly recommend!

I used to do a lot of business with Advanced Auto they change custom on hands a lot hiring new people all the time and when you go there they have no records of what you bought in their files because either the computers have gone down or else they just had no records so now I don't do my business with them like I used to every now and then I might run in there and get a windshield wiper but that's it I ordered a part from a gentleman named Jim without having to come in and pay in advance but the next day when I needed a part I wanted to order it like Jim did for us and the lady that was working there refused to do it without me coming in paying for it I understand that's their policy but that one day they let us do it the next day the lady won't a couple times I've had to come in there she is kind of rude

I will never buy lifetime warranty from them again because lifetime warranty only means six years and doesn't mean lifetime that you own the vehicle and you pay extra for lifetime warranty

This was the best experience I've had in a retail store in a long time. Erica who waited on me was very professional and nice. I don't think that it took more than 20 minutes for the complete transaction to be complete including checking my battery and alternator to determine the problem selling me the battery, making sure to give me my military discount and installing the battery all done by Erica. I don't like trying to get any auto issues fixed and don't usually like the cost or outcome. With that being said Erica made this a more than pleasant experience and I will certainly let anyone I know they should visit store #05826 in Madison heights and see Erica for outstanding service. THANK YOU ERICA, YOUR THE BEST.

I stopped in to get coolant for my truck so I wouldn't blow the engine by overheating it. They also have same day delivery when you order from their website. I needed a pulley that I couldn't drive to pickup and for the fee of $8.99 someone brought it to me. That was a good look. Unlike certain other stores, (I'm looking at you O'Reilly's and AutoZone ?).

This place will not install batteries unless you arrive first thing in the morning. I bought my battery after calling to confirm the installation would be free and did not need an appointment. I arrived with my young son and it was 3 hours before closing, the two men working looked at me as if they were annoyed. The older guy told me they won’t be installing my battery “this time of night” and the younger guy told him that he spoke to me on the phone earlier. Obviously the young guy lost that battle because they were really happy to take my money but refused to install my battery. He put it in my car, on the floorboard. He told me to come back the next day, and of course I had to get my car jumped the very next day at 730 AM in order to get my son to school. We arrive after school lets out, and the employees are smoking outside, directly in front of the entrance. I smoke, but that’s extremely unprofessional, especially when customers can see you. Another man installed the battery within 10 minutes. So, the reason that they refused to help me the night before was so the older guy wouldn’t be “alone” for an entire 10 minutes....(would have to help other customers if they came in)....I was the only customer.This taught me that I should just learn how to do these things so I don’t need to rely on so called “experts” next time I need assistance. It’s a bait and switch tactic, they take your money, tell you what you want to hear, and then the circumstances suddenly change based on how lazy the employees are feeling that day.
