I stayed here during the pandemic because I had nowhere else to go.I was going through a bit of a tough time so I stayed here until I could get back on my feet.The room that I stayed in was nice, it was quiet outside of course because of the pandemic no one was outside, the area was nice and I liked that it was a shopping center close by.What I did not like were two things:The bed bugs and the inspections every single Saturday.I could not switch rooms because all of the rooms were booked.The bed bugs were terrible my son had to deal with getting bit all of the time for serval months.I asked to switch rooms a few times but was told every time that all of the rooms were full.Next were the inspections, whichever guest lived here for over a month the manager did room inspections.During the inspections you had to put everything in a storage container or a box and line it neatly against the wall.They had to go from room to room and do a walk through each room sometimes they wouldn't get to my room until 2 or 3 pm. It was irritating. I had to sit there and just wait. Nothing could be sitting on the counter top, on the bathroom sink, no shoes on the floor or nothing on the night stand. You had to deep clean everything in there, make the beds up and mop the floor. Nothing could be out of order. I don't mind cleaning but I found this to be outright ridiculous.What was the point? As long as you kept your room clean which I did what was the point of packing everything up and having 2 or 3 front desk people do a walk through your room every Saturday? I was so happy when I finally found a place of my own.Living by other people's rules when you are a full grown adult is not my idea of living at all.

1st room had people in it.2nd room ac unit didn't work.3rd room wasn't very clean but I stayed in it.

I wanted to see what a room looked like after it was clean. Guess seeing what your buying is too much to ask. Lady at the desk wasn't rude, but was very very unhelpful and very impolite. Very poor service.

I personally and unfortunately stayed here for approximately 4-6 months while in the process of moving, at first everyone was nice, and everything was good. Around the 2nd-3rd time staying here housekeeping does not clean your room even if you step out of the room, they do not offer for you yourself to clean the room with their provided supplies. Sometimes the central heating/AC doesn't work. If the power goes out during a storm, they do not offer to switch rooms for heat, in fact the night workers fumble around what to do.The only thing you CAN do get is towels and sheets when you bring them down to the office by yourself. Oh but it snows they often dont shovel or salt the slippery stairs until a day AFTER, luckily, like everything else, i did it myself.2/5 do not recommend staying here more than a week, maybe for one night, but there is better options right across the freeway.

Originally from Chicago and recently just moved to Detroit. Needed a place to stay till my housing is situated. Kenyota the manager is the BEST!!! She showed me around and gave me some places to go and visit. Her hospitality is none other. Customer service on point. Sana the front dest clerk, also a good person. Thank you Kenyota!!!

Very clean and loved the fact that there were cameras outside the building. The manager was very kind and polite. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Will be staying here again!

One of the housekeepers returned my boots that I accidentally left in a room, so that was greatly appreciated. I wish they still had the little coffee maker in the rooms, as well as the little bottles shampoo/conditioner. The weekly price is decent too.

I love this hotel for the price and location its a deal ...all the other hotels in the metro area are very dirty ....this place is clean and convenient... The manager kenyonta is very sweet and always attentive Sana is very sweet in the am always wishes me a great day fast and very responsive if you have a concern

Worst Motel 6 ever . I’m a Truck Driver and I stay mostly at all the Motel. Horrible customer service, clerk never wore a mask, and motel didn’t seem clean, laundry machine charge me money and said it may out-off service When I let the clerk know, he instantly responded “you’ll have to wait until the manager comes in to get a refund.” I asked for manager name start yelling on me . I called and there wasn’t a manager on duty, This property is very unprofessional, and doesn’t care about fixing issues

You get what you pay for. Shantelle is great housekeeper and the Front desk staff is so helpful. They do not offer late check out. Make sure you inspect the entire room. You can wash laundry onsite. The Wifi is not the best so if you are here for work or work virtually this might not be a good place. Walls are thin as well. Dog friendly. Lots of kids!

When I arrived there was a bug on the floor and when I killed it and threw it in the toilet the toilet, NO EXAGGERATION, started to act like a gyser. I SWEAR THE WHOLE ROOM WAS IN WATER, NO EXAGGERATING. When I went to front desk to ask for a plunger she said no and gave me towels. I asked for a new room and she said there was none and she couldn't give my money back until morning (this was around 2am) so she said to come back in a few hours and see if there was a room...mind you this is Detroit, don't be fooled. So when I came back to the motel at 4am I finally got a new room. This front desk employee didn't mention to the morning staff what happened and when the maids came and I tried explaining, they acted so trashy and so rude...I was embarrassed for them as a fellow human. Then the manager came and got the 2bimbo maids to leave and the best thing they could do was give half a refund.
