“Amazing fish store 12 out of 10 the owner was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The store was immaculate. Every tank was so clean and breathtaking breaming with life. They were gorgeous. Each tank a Fish utopia.and an owner who’s incredibly passionate about their fish I love too see it. Lots of cool fish of all sizes and some reptiles they also sell live aquatic plants!”

“I’ve been taking my dogs to Bianca at Canine Divine and she is absolutely wonderful! She does a great job grooming but most importantly, she genuinely cares about each dog. One of my dogs had really bad anxiety and she made sure he had a great experience each time. I can’t say enough great things about this place. 10/10 recommend.”

She thoroughly explained the benefits of a particular dog food, making me feel more knowledgeable about what I was feeding my dog. She even went above and beyond by offering me a can of pumpkin to help with the transition to the new food. Her generosity and warm approach made me feel welcome and eager to return. “Old fashioned, friendly service that you probably won't find at the large chain stores. The selection is great and the prices are good, often better than the other pet supply stores and warehouse clubs. Pets are welcome. If you have a question, the staff is helpful and willing to offer recommendations. It's unfortunate that the store on Livernois in Troy closed several years ago and still sits empty.”
“Filthy Beast is our go to shampoo for dogs! Its high concentrate makes it last a long time! Their dog perfume is top notch! In my opinion their customer service for kennels and groomer is amazing! They normally ship same day and are always accommodating! The box special is worth every dime! Highly recommend these products and company to anyone in the business of washing dogs!”
“My husband bought some dog food from the other K9 because what our dog usually ate, they didn't have any more at that location. We had to end up taking it back because the dog wouldn't eat it. So we brought it here and we were able to exchange it for her regular brand without a lot of hassle. The customer service is always great at both locations.”

“I took my dog here for the first time to give him a bath. The staff was super nice and extremely helpful. I wish I got their names but the cashier was so kind and knowledgeable when we were talking about him pulling me. Then I struggled and hurt my back trying to get him in the tub when a nice man came and helped me and then a nice lady helped me walk him out to my car. They went above and beyond for me today! So thankful for their kindness ?”
“Great place! Bought my vaccinations and dewormer from the K9 Detroit location on Gratiot at 10am 2/3/24 . The nice young lady a formal Veterinarian Technician working there gave my three Pomeranians their shots and properly recorded it on their vaccination records with the next scheduled date as a reminder. It’s like she better than going to the veterinarian to get it done. Professional, kind and gentle. The most affordable alternative three vaccinations that covered 5 different diseases and a box of liquid dewormer (120cc) with the nice young lady administering the vaccinations to two puppies and one adult Pom for only $65 dollars!!! I live in Sterling Heights and there is no pet supply businesses anywhere that offer that unique service. Thank you Detroit K9 Gratiot east side location.”
“Usually have what I need and the savings are pretty significant to bigger chains. There is almost a $15.00 difference in the cost of the dog food I use. There is a good selection of toys and treats here at reasonable prices too. Its usually my pet supply go to store.”

She even helped coordinate last-minute deliveries with everyone to get it all done. And she was always checking different prices to make sure I got a good deal - it really felt like she was on my side, not trying to sell me more than I needed. “Just stopped in yesterday to get my cat microchipped. Everyone was super helpful and kind. I accidentally went to the adoption center first but Tiffany pointed me in the right direction of the clinic. After getting him chipped, they gave me paperwork and emailed instructions on how to add my contact info to his chip.
This clinic is similar to all about animals in that you will wait for a bit in your vehicle as they are a small clinic, but they do an excellent job and you’re getting preventative care done for much cheaper than a traditional vet, so it’s not an issue for me, but something to be mindful of. I had no issues utilizing my mobile hotspot to get work done in my car.
Overall I’d absolutely go back for any non-emergency, preventative care needed for my cat!”
“Sometimes it's hard to get the attention of the associates to get me the live insects for my pet. But once they are over there they are very nice there's usually little to no line here.”
“Lakeside Dog Grooming & Pet Supplies did a phenomenal job on my daughter’s bernadoodle Bruno!!!! He is a super shy and scared pup- we think his previous owners were abusive ?. She brought her adorable daughter to help and she kept him calm the whole time!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
“Great selection of healthy dog snacks. The pricing is very reasonable and affordable. They occasionally give little samples of treats when you purchase treats. My cat's favorite treat from there are the apple chicken bacon chips. One bag of them includes A LOT of chips that last a long time for one cat.”

“My daughter and I and my wife have taken and bought many fish from the store we run a plant life filtration system versus a carbon filtration but we find that we enjoy the fish from this store they taken have long life spans and they enjoy our fish tanks fairly well one of the things that I've put in our tank is a philodendron and one of my Japanese algae eaters has decided that it is a hammock for him but that's part of what makes him special is his personality”

“We love TPB! Jill and Louis are great and their staff are always so sweet and helpful. We’ve been buying our pet food from here for the last 7-8 years and always look forward to stopping by and seeing the crew. We started going there because one of our dogs had stomach issues. We were able to find food she could eat without aggravating her tummy. The quality of the pet food and service are second to none. The dogs love the food!! Our dogs have never been healthier!”
