This place is a shithole. Rated an average of 2 stars for a reason. Staff are rude, lazy, incompetent and disrespectful to patients and their families. Nobody here wants to do their job, which is to care for patients, the hospital staff are so neglectful to do. Don't go here, don't send your loved ones here, it is a bad medical decision.

This hospital keeps charging me for services I never received and doctors I never talked too. After I paid off my hospital bill get a call form a debt collector saying I'm getting charged twice. The doctor is charging me separate form my hospital vist. An additional fee for seeing the doctor. But here's the kicker I didn't see a doctor. I had to leave the hospital mid way though my blood work because my insurance wasn't accepted. They tried to charge me for medicine I never had because again I HAD TO LEAVE. I payed the fees for the er vist the blood work and the EKG I already gave them over 800 dollars now I'm being charged an extra 1000 for a doctor I never seen? And no one will talk to me about it. I keep getting the run around. Why is Elizabeth Marcuz charging me when I never seen her Ascension? Can someone please contact me and explain this?

I want to thank the ENTIRE staff for everything they did for myself and my son. My son had surgery and the staff member in the surgery waiting room went above and beyond keeping me informed about what was going on. I'm just sorry I didn't get her name, but she did a superb job. The surgeon did a great job with my son's surgery and the nurses were all so sweet and helpful. On top of that, I stopped at the cafeteria to get something for lunch and the meal on that day was FREE. YUMMY! Thank You so much form the bottom of my hear for taking such great care of my son.

I encourage everyone who has experienced unprofessional or illegal practices here to contact your insurance provider and complain, contact Licensing and Regulatory Affairs of Michigan to file a complaint, and wtite a formal complaint about the hospital to the Michigan Attorney Generals office. This place is responsible for the death of my dad. They try to sweep any internal complaints under the rug, never to be seen. Unfortunately for me, my father later signed the hospice contract, which voids mandated autopsies, and he unfortunately was cremated. This hospital ruined my families life. Absolutely no compassion from anyone there.

Outpatient surgery waiting room is a dump and needs a complete overhaul. Furniture is all worn out and the floors could use a good mopping. No TV to watch or reading material. Also the room is way too small and crowded.

If I could give this hospital a negative star review I would do it. I was there for an accidental overdose . I was understandably put under 24 hour observation by sitters, but while there I was lied to, threatened, gas lighted and ignored. I had a bad IV that I was told needed to be removed. My sitter and I tried repeatedly to get someone to remove it as it was leaking and causing pain. After several hours of no one answering our calls, I removed it myself. The nurses told the supervisor they had been in and out of my room but they had not and my sitter verified that he repeatedly tried to get me help but no one came. I was told the Dr would see me several times and later found out he wasn't even in town. One psychiatrist for 7 floors. I decided I'd had enough and wanted to go home and was told I would be tied to my bed. That's not even legal. I couldn't get my antidepressants that I need to stay stable and now that I'm home I'm going to have to build them back up in my system to feel stable again. I was supposed to be given a referral to a outside councilor and was not and then given the wrong prescriptions to take home. All in all I was ignored and poorly treated. I will never go to another one of these hospitals again. They are the worst.

Heather from ultra sound is awesome. I'm here to get my Gallbladder checked. She made me feel comfortable and was very nice. My nurse is Melissa she is also a Rock star. I'm a nervous wreck being here but they have helped me so far.

Better than 12 and hoover for an emergency ill give them that. DO NOT GO THERE FOR RADIOLOGY. Dont keep them in buisness that way. Its now over a 16 day turn around to get any testing results. Im currently worried about cancer at 28 and according to them thats not as imparative as an 85 year old with a stroke. Radiology desk is always empty and unstaffed. Only people starting these jobs are rich kids carried through college. None of them are there for the patients anymore all that money after covid given to the medical feilds still considered a competitive feild yet they cant even staff essential services. save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

- Nurses were AMAZING. Super kind and accomidating and helped with everything i asked for- both receptionists (ER and ICU) were so kind, despite the chaos- they let me sneak into the ICU before visiting hours to drop off clothes/comfort items so i could make it to work- very clean ICU rooms

Really enjoyed what was and is a very stressful situation. I was in for a colonoscopy. The nursing staff joked around with me and put at ease my way of dealing with stress is to laugh or joke around. The anesthesiologist and doctor performing were great. I told them if the found my car keys while doing the colonoscopy to let me know. Doctor said something funny just as I went under. Thank you all

Most disgusting hospital I’ve ever been to, they treat all the patients like Shi I would not recommend this hospital to no one! Made my dad leave the hospital with no surgery like they said with broken ribs broken nose, wouldn’t let him get up on his own and had a camera on him at all times but said he needs to be discharged makes sense right! He got up to go pee n fell over because they took 20 mins to come to the room, the nurse said you could have waited or went in your pants who says that! They did nothing to help all this hospital cares about is taking your money, I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to go to This hospital it’s horrible! First day I went in the bathroom I puked bc there was pee everywhere n it stunk so bad do better!

This place is a dump and a joke, and to state there was a collective lack of compassion would be an understatement. I have a history of seizures and heart issues, and I thoroughly and patiently explained that to the doctor. He did literally NOTHING. He talked to me for fewer than 10 seconds, didn't check my heart, didn't do blood work, didn't do ANYTHING. He vanished, then approximately 12 minutes later, somebody came in with my discharge paperwork, after ZERO treatment or recognition. They just sent me home to deal with a 135bpm heartrate, body tremors and extreme dehydration. This place is a joke. I wouldn't take my worst enemy here.

Spent 13 days here with my husband after he had a massive stroke. Some nurses were wonderful but unfortunately we had some very horrible experiences with others. Definitely room for lots of improvements

Was kept on a liquid diet dispute not needing to until the day I left. I left due to extreme headache and nausea from having no food. The only liquids on their menu were all meat based and I couldn’t eat them. Was left with little to no communication unless asking for my pain meds. Was not given my other medication I needed and was on daily. Left and decided to schedule the additional procedure outpatient despite the added weight bc I was unwell. The only time I spoke to or saw many of the doctors was when I said I wanted to leave.

My wife had a surgery scheduled here. She was afraid like anyone would be. We made it to the surgery center waiting room and was advised by the staff that I will not be able to go into the room prior to the surgery and would not be able to go after the surgery during recovery and would have to wait until I pick her up at the exit of thr hospital to see her. My wife and I requested to the staff multiple times for me to go back and explained our situation due to my wife having a previous surgery and since then her having panic attacks and anxiety. All of our request was denied for me to come along with her and had me sitting in the waiting room the entire time. I would never recommend this hospital for any surgery purpose. This review is for my experience with the surgery center and not the overall hospital. I've had great experience personally with the emergency room for my visits and I would rate that a 5 star but not for the surgery center.The doctor who did the surgery was outstanding. Dr. William Kady is an incredible doctor and knew my wife was afraid and he was there to keep her relaxed and calm.
