Rude customer service representatives. Saw them being very rude to a couple of middle eastern guys asking about rates. The guy that waited on me was so rude and I took my business to U-haul. I am a patient person, but this treatment was uncalled for. This 2023 not 1923! I don't know if it was racial but looking at this situation, it didn't look good... Don't assume people are trying to cheat you, don't be rude when you do not recognize a credit card company issued MasterCard... because in this case you cheated yourself out of business. U-Haul was very happy for my business.

Bought a $1,900 washer/dryer unit with instillation service, when they delivered it they wouldn’t even unhook our old unit or turn the water or gas off, and just left the new unit with us without installation. Called a outsourced plumber to get the new unit hooked up the next day, only to find out it was a defect and the dryer didn’t work. Filed a complaint for a new unit, and have now been rescheduled on twice, and today they were a no call no show. When I contacted customer support (after confirming my delivery day yesterday) I told them I’ve used all my PTO up on these delivery reschedules and can no longer take a week day installation date and it would have to be on a weekend. He hung up on me. Contacted the Home Depot store and Tesa was helpful enough to get us a new delivery date for 2 weeks from now, but they can’t guarantee a delivery. It’s been a month now since we’ve bought our unit and nothing but headaches and cancellations. Go to Lowe’s. I’ll never use Home Depot again.

Home Depot Sucks! They have no idea how their store works, how the delivery works, who is in charge over there?? I ordered a simple basic refrigerator with "free delivery" and it's a complete debacle! Phone calls go nowhere and now no one knows where my refrigerator is !

Do not ever use Home Depot for projects that require installation. They installed damaged doors and are now making us jump through hoops to try to get new doors. They never inspected them before installation. Terrible customer service.

Ordered a product which showed “1 available” online. Our credit card was charged full price right after purchase. After 5 hours (mind you this is 3 hours after their promised 2 hour contact window), we were told our product “was not available”. The reasoning provided by the knowledgeable associate was “it must just be a website problem”. No offer for any sort of solution for the large mistake on Home Depot. Rented an electric power washer. A gas washer wouldn't fit in my car so I took the electric. The team demonstrated it and it looked like it could do the job. I get it home and the pressure was less then my garden hose with a nossel. I took it back and the guy saw the hose attachment was on backwards he fixed it and tested it, worked fine. I took it home again and same low pressure. The staff was great but the electric washer was lousy. Dont rent the electric washer.

The Tool Rental Department has the most unprofessional customer service representatives. I would HIGHLY recommend renting tools and/or other services, from another store.

go to a different store, I ordered a portable air conditioner and decided to be safe and drove over to make sure they didnt sell out. and just as I expected all were moved to the front and flying off the pallet, went to customer service to check. they did bring down another skid but never thought to bring one over and then just started to wait on the next person inline. WTH didn't undo the shink wrap nothing. So other customers just began wripping the skid open. Had we not seen this happening and quickly grabbed one. Terrible customer service.

I will never be returning to the Madison Heights Home Depot again. I ordered CUSTOM made cabinets and when they came in they were not the correct sizes. They would require more millwork. Karen, the manager in Kitchen Cabinets, told me she would look for my actual order another day.
