4 of my pets have been here over the years. Most recently my dog had an ear hematoma. Her regular vet would not see her in a timely manner so I decided to come here. They fixed her up and had us on our way in a few hours. Pretty expensive though.

I am really sorry I took my dog here all they were concerned with the 1252.00 paid up front. They were so worried the dog be out by 10am they send me home with medicines dog food pain pill and all unnecessary stuff I got the dog home and called his vet. They wanted to see him.He ended dying on the table. I emailed them and all would give me credit for the food. I feel they played with my emotions and gave me false hope. I would not take your animal here My dog was dibectic and his glucose level was not checked he was never given the insulin he need

Such a great ER for your pets! I took my dog here last year and had a wonderful experience. Most recently i brought in my kitten who was very sick. I called 4 other ERs all around Metro Detroit and all had a wait of 6+ hours. We drove in the snowstorm and upon arrival we were checked (within a minutes) and treated all in about an hour. The staff was so polite, educated and comforting. Anytime i called back with a concern or question the Dr. answered everything i had asked. Happy to say shes feeling much better !!! Thank you!!!!Appreciate your service! :)

In the middle of the night, our new dog ate a fairly large cat toy. There are no 24 hour emergency vets near us since Covid, so we took a chance, in a snow storm, with Madison Heights Emergency Vets. They were so nice and took care of the problem immediately. We are so grateful.

My daughter's dog somehow got poisoned that we had to rush her to this veterinary service as recommended by Google I believe. We had to call the parking lot and then wait until they called in the car. It was really cold so we had to run the engine. First waste of our money. They came out to our car and took Dakota in the back door of the building. They ran the test that called my daughter out in the car they said it was going to be $795 to treat her on top of the $125 office visit fee. We didn't even get in the building!! So how was that even visiting??!? What were we supposed to do with my daughter leaving on a cruise in the morning and her four young children in the car? Let the family dog die? All they did was put some charcoal in her belly and run some simple blood tests and sent her back outside to us still sick and lethargic from the whole ordeal. We had to take her home like that. We did all the work and they took all the profit. I'm glad I don't live around here ?

I took my 2 8 1/2 oh pups on New Year’s Eve. They Musta got into trash and got poisoned because they was both shaking profusely and I took them into this emergency room to where I know who was going to cost at least a few thousand.I didn’t have the funds! Long story short my dogs was near death and their service saved my dog and I know the funds in which I had wasn’t enough and they still nursed my dogs to health! Most vets I called wouldn’t even see my pups, they informed me to bring them up! Highly recommended to anyone!! Professional people

This place is not an emergency vet hospital. My pet was having an emergency so I tried to call and visit. They are closed. The least you could do is change the voicemail message or leave a note on the door. Precious time wasted trying to get my pet the emergency care she needs.

We just had to put our cat down last night and being the only place near us open late we took him here. The employees were all kind and helpful. My only big complaint is that they charge you $90 to be with your pet when euthanizing them which was shocking to us. Vets complain how owners won’t be with their babies when putting them down to help them be at peace in their last moments but then go and charge you and charge you a lot to be there with them. I will never bring a pet back here that may need to be euthanized for that reason. If they didn’t charge you (which from pet worker friends is NOT common practice) i would be back and give 5 stars.

Go to Blue Pearl instead. All emergency vets are not created equal, as we learned when we brought our 7 month old puppy here in July. We arrived at 12:49AM. They charged a $1000 deposit (compared to other local vet ERs of $400-$500) and seemingly wouldn't start treating our dog until the payment cleared. We waited in the car until 1:32AM when the vet called. He told us we'd need to go to a specialist and that they would provide us the information. We waited another hour until we could go in and get our puppy and never got to speak to a vet in person as he had already left for the night. A tech gave us a list of all the emergency vets in the area and when asked about our dogs condition knew nothing about him. We drove 30 minutes away as we thought any of the options would work, and that vet then referred us to Blue Pearl which is the only option in the area with a critical care specialist. This emergency vet does not have an actual vet on staff 24/7 and was an awful experience leading up to the eventual passing of our puppy.

I took my 4 month old puppy here because he was having a hard time breathing their concerns were for me to pay and since I couldn’t pay they wanted to throw some antibiotics at me but no diagnosis told me to take him to the next place basically then the Cashier Mika was so rude to me probably because I am black over the phone she told me an exam this is my first pet so I thought a diagnosis was included in the exam but nope it’s not so why am I giving my dog medicine and we don’t know what’s wrong SCAM ARTIST also she told me that they can’t read dogs minds and I started to tell her if I could read his mind I wouldn’t be here

It's of course not everyone's favorite place to go. You come here when you're dealing with a crisis and feeling big feelings and have a loved one suffering. And of course no one wants to talk about the price. It's an unfortunate process during a terrible time for you and your pets. So I completely understand people grieving not liking the price or the outcome of bringing their pets. And all places have good and bad days.THAT said... we have had to come here throughout the years (over 10) a handful of times. Each time was a wonderful professional experience. Today we lost one of our dogs that had been battling cancer and was doing okay then not. It hit hard and fast. They let us grieve. They let us take time with her. The staff was so caring. Immediately had a room ready for her. We made her comfortable and let her go peacefully. Was it ideal? No. Of course not. But the vet itself and staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and do in fact care.

Took our 3 month old puppy in after a horrendous accident and the place was busy. They took him right in and got him checked out and patched up. Was it expensive? Yes, but not prohibitively so. Besides - waddaya expect for an EMERGENCY visit? The staff was more than helpful and very thorough in what they explained should be done in after care. Word of advice to all paws parents: GET PET INSURANCE!! Accidents will happen and care costs. These people are trained to do what we can't. And for that, they will always have my respect.

We took our dog there due to a blockage. They were very transparent. Completed a very long surgery removing 3 feet of his intestines. Every time I called to check in or ask questions they were extremely helpful. The surgery was very critical but he pulled through! Doctor and staff were great. They only thing I wished is they would have done his post op check without charging me the $125 fee. I expected a visit fee but not an emergency fee after paying just shy of 7G for the surgery. We really wanted to take him back where he was a little used to after being there a couple days but also where they knew his needs best. But honestly in the grand scheme of things they were great. Prices were confirmed at another vet for same procedure and it was not much different than there.
