About Shanty Creek Resort - Schuss Mountain Golf Course
Shanty Creek Resort - Schuss Mountain Golf Course is a well-maintained and beautiful golf course surrounded by woods and shaded areas. The course features flat greens near the holes, proper sand traps, and in great shape fairways and rough. Visitors enjoy the northern grass and the lack of forced carries, making for an enjoyable round. The course offers a good flow of play with staff and beverage carts, and players often experience fast, smooth greens. The course is suitable for all skill levels, with lessons available for families and groups. While amenities like beverage carts are present, some guests found the service inconsistent, and staffing may sometimes lack local personnel. Overall, it is a pleasant course with a great setting, and many look forward to returning to play again.
What a great place to play. This might have been the best conditions I have ever experienced playing golf. Tee, fairways, and greens were pristine. This will go on my list of best places to play.

Love the skiing here! Lots of variety for all levels of skiers and the terrain is fun. Slopes are well groomed, mountain staff is friendly and courteous. Hopefully indoor service problems others experienced will improve under the new ownership next season.
