“As basic as you can get. Some rooms have air conditioning, some don't. The rooms have a view of the river, which is nice. We came with two dogs. Not many hotels take dogs so this is why we stayed here. We walked downtown to eat.Rooms: Basic! Not all rooms have air conditioner. They have a bed, small microwave, outside grill, walkout to the river.Walkability: Can walk to downtown a block away.”

The rooms are big - I didn’t feel crowded at all.Noteworthy details: Great location. Close to First Street Beach, Manistee North Pier Lighthouse and Fifth Avenue Beach.”
“This hotel is a bit dated, but the entire establishment is clean and inviting. The owner/ desk clerk is very friendly and accommodating. There is an indoor pool area with a hot tub that is well kept and spacious. For the price and the location, Hotel Manistee is a must stay.Rooms: The rooms are clean and spacious.Safety: The town this hotel is in seems to have been frozen in time. I stayed 4 nights and heard not a single siren. Nor did I feel uncomfortable anywhere I went.Noteworthy details: The beds are very comfortable and I was not disturbed during the day, as I had hung the do not disturb sign on the door.”
