Do not book here. The very first day working as a housekeeper bedbugs were spotted in a room that needed clean. Management will lie to your face and tell you there isn't a bug issue. But all of the bugs like to hide behind the headboards.Additionally as a housekeeper all of the dirty details were discovered.. Unremovable stains in a lot of the carpets. Undersheets are only changed once a month at best. It's quite appalling!!It's just a quick paycheck. Work there for a few weeks for quick cash then up on out!Food & drinks: The breakfast was disgusting

Very clean and quiet. Friendly , knowledgeable and accommodating staff. I highly recommend and I will stay here again the next time I’m in Manistee.Rooms: Very clean and quiet. The rooms are big - I didn’t feel crowded at all.Noteworthy details: Great location. Close to First Street Beach, Manistee North Pier Lighthouse and Fifth Avenue Beach.

Don’t be fooled with other reviews. This place shows ok in the pictures, but it is a rundown place. The decoration in the room itself was kind of OK, but it was very old and dated. The carpets were so dirty I hesitated to walk on it without shoes. The beds were very uncomfortable, and went too far down even with a 160 lbs person. The included breakfast was a joke. They also double charged us because their system lad a glitch, so they said. luckily we had notifications for credit card charges and we caught it immediately. The desk person was very nice, but their reservation system was buggy. We waited for half an hour but they couldn’t resolve the issue even with help from Expedia support person who called the office immediately.

My car was completely side swiped in the parking lot, in the very back where you wouldn't get hit, they have no cameras or anything, so now I'm phased with paying to fix my car. It's 2023 you'd think with the way life is, they'd put cameras out, but makes me happy to know I could get killed in their parking lot and no one would ever know who it is. If you want to visit a circus don't go to manistee, I'm sure your local carnival will make up for this joke of an establishment. I'm just so ecstatic I get to shell out more money, money that I bust it for, and now have to fix someone else's mistake, be a man and own up to things, cause I will find who did this. 0 stars if possible

I hated my stay here. We picked this place after sailing over to MI from WI on the car ferry. It seemed like a reasonable distance before continuing our journey. I thought it would have a nice view of the small lake in the town based on its location. You could see the lake from the hotel, but not from our room. The room I selected was expensive, one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel. It was no different from any other cheap, generic hotel room except it had a hot tub in it and a shower. I should have saved my money. I just wanted a nice King suite. One of the things I really hated about the virus is that it caused most hotels to shut down their breakfast buffets. Instead of hot breakfasts where you can serve yourself, you were given a bag of carbs to go. Thankfully this practice has died out, and has been dead for a long time as the virus diminished. Not here. In June 2022, the management of this hotel (notice in the lobby) is claiming that the risk of covid prevents them from providing a buffet, hot breakfast. I don't know it for a fact, but it would be my opinion the way that this hotel is run that it is simply a money making exercise, squeeze as much out of the hotel as possible, who cares about good experience for the guests. I've tried to think of something good to say about this place. I can't think of much. I slept OK is about all I can do. Apparently there are only 4 hotels in Manistee. Based on my experience, you'd be better served at one of the other ones.
