This post office is known for having staffing issues. So much so, that when I visit Jones/Vandalia/Cassopolis the staff there mention the difficult personalities in Marcellus. They also have difficulty starting and stopping mail accurately. For the best service and experience, go to Cassopolis or Jones.

An absolute joke of a “post office”None of the employees are even remotely friendly whatsoever. Lisa Marie & Judy were always so extremely rude and acted like everything was an inconvenience to them every single time you go in. There was only one really nice employee but I think sadly she only works on weekends. I believe her name is Becca. I would try to purposefully wait until the weekend and hope she was there to get all of my mail and packages. That’s saying something! Not to mention their hours at this location are absolutely STUPID. How do they expect anyone to get their mail especially packages from a P.O. Box if they are closed from lunch 1-2 and only open until 4. Then Saturdays only open 10-12. They would also be annoyed when you had multiple packages to pick up… Isn't that the whole point of a post office- handling MAIL & PACKAGES??? Don’t waste your time with this post office or its employees. If they treated you better the hours wouldn’t be such a hassle but with the horrible lack of customer service and the rudeness it’s simply not worth you time!

Extremely unprofessional and rude employees. Unable to follow simple delivery instructions. Lost mail, packages stolen from portch,and lost forms that were returned to them. Informed delivery tells what I'll be getting yet sometimes I don't get anything till 8 or 9 sometimes 10pm in my mailbox. Packages say delivered and no where to be found. Save a trip and go go Lawton post office.

We have the worst post office-although Mike is usually nice - the carriers are not trained properly, they shove packages into mail boxes because they are too lazy to get out of their vehicle. They put the incorrect mail into incorrect mail boxes. The excuse is -“training issues”. Then train them....ugh.

They were so incredibly helpful in tracking down my package and making sure it got to me. I put in the wrong zip code, and they made sure to correct the mistake when it came to them and they kept checking up on it to make sure it got to me on the east side of the state. It was by far the best service I have received at any post office and I am so grateful for their help in getting my package to me!

It closes too early to be of practical use to anyone. you basically have to take time out of your schedule or take a day off in order to do anything around this. Rain, sleet, snow, or hail we deliver what you mail, but good luck picking it up because are hours are a pain in the a** .

They are never open. Noon? Closed. 2pm? Closed. I just went in to the post office and they were closed even though I could see someone inside.
