Gogebic Lodge is a wonderful place to enjoy drinks or a meal with beautiful views of the lake. It is an excellent place for fishing or hiking in the Porcupine Mountains. The food is absolutely outstanding and delicious, with pizza and an excellent Old Fashioned noted. The staff and people are absolutely wonderful, very welcoming, helpful, attentive, and friendly, though service can sometimes be slow when busy. The fantastic service and great food make it definitely worth the time and money, and many plan to return.
Had plans to stay three nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)but decided to head home later Saturday prior to the blizzard of 2026. They let us move those two extra days to later in the month. Very understanding. Great place!

Perfect place to stay by sled. Cabins are comfortable and bar and grill service is good.
