After investing $70,000 on solar panels last year I need a place to put the revenue it generates. But it makes no sense putting it in a bank that is going to use a portion of it to pay their electric bill ( banks consume alot of KWH). So I am looking for a bank that also covers it's electrical needs via installed solar panels. Perhaps you know enough about your business to recommend a bank that meets my needs.

I haven't had the pleasure of personally dealing with the bank, other than asking where the ATM was. The lady was very pleasant though. The times I've used the ATM, it's always worked flawlessly. What I really like is that the fee is reasonable, and I haven't been limited to an artificially low amount, so that you have to make 2-3 withdrawals, thereby incurring more fees, if you need a larger amount of cash. I'm seriously considering opening an account there too.

This branch has a very friendly atmosphere with tellers who are willing to help. My grandparents have been banking here for years and have never had a complaint!

My son's workplace requires them to have an account so they can do a direct deposit of each paycheck and asked him to have this by tomorrow for Friday's payroll. We took him to Chase bank which is our bank. We walked in at 4:10 pm and a worker said we would have a 15-20 minute wait but we could always go somewhere for a bit and come back later. We told her no thank you since we preferred to wait. After sitting there quite awhile, a worker and a manager rudely ran us out of there and told us they could not help us because they don't see anyone after 4:00 pm even though they stay open until 5:00 pm and told us we would just have to come back another day. My son said he was glad they wouldn't help because as mean as they all were he wouldn't want an account with a place like that and wondered why we would choose to bank with people like that. We were really embarrassed because we have been with Chase since 1986 (back when it used to be called NBD) and with this particular Chase since 2004 but it's not the same. We then walked in to Independant Bank at 4:50 pm. The workers were so nice and welcoming to my son that he said he was happy Chase wouldn't help because he really likes this bank. They happily opened him up an account and said it was no problem whatsoever and they were more than happy to help. They said lately most of their new customers are former Chase customers that were also treated badly and needed a new bank. We also found out that there are a lot more Independant Banks around than there are Chase Banks. The workers between Independant Bank and Chase Bank are as different as night and day. We couldn't believe how bad the Customer Service is at Chase Bank. It sure has went downhill. I told my wife, "Wow! I couldn't believe how different this bank was and the workers are so friendly and eager to help customers. Maybe we are with the wrong bank after all!"
