I called Ace in Harvey about 30 minutes ago, the lady who answer the phone said she could not find an item because she has an appointment and has to leave. I asked to speak to a manager, she said her coworker would look for it. No one ever came back on the line. I kept calling and no one ever answer the phone again.

Definitely have come to prefer Ace to the big box alternatives. I've consistently found everything I'm looking for here, without endless wandering. Plus free popcorn!

My trip to Ace was beautiful.
The store was clean and has always been clean on the few trips that I have made there.
I like it when I go there and the popcorn is made and has not been sitting for a while.
Today I went to pick up a thermometer gauge for my B.B.Q Pit, I was so happy that they had it, it was the last one.
I had a lady walk to me and ask if I needed help, I advised that I just found what I needed, and she was kind and stayed around asking questions about what I was going to do with my purchase, lol she then got excited when I explained that I cook Texas Style B.B.Q as a side hustle turns out she was the store manager and she was VERY personable and not standoffish.

Staff that don’t care about their jobs, rental equipment that is never serviced properly, limited inventory that is overpriced no niche equipment/ outdoor gear

Do not go here to have a key cut. I went in to see if they had a key for my car. They didn't have it in stock so they would have to order it. No problem. Them it was backordered and they had no idea when it would come in. Ok they quoted me $140 to have it cut and programmed. It was cheaper then going to the dealer and I didn't urgently need it.
Two weeks go by and I call to see where it is and he says he called to order the key on the weekend and it would be another week before it came in. Later that week my key stops working the service anti theft system light is on. I need this key. Monday rolls around I call and they key is in. My husband goes in the next day to have it cut and they cut it wrong but they also said it would be $170 for the key and then $30 more for the programming fee. . He goes back the next day right after they open and the guy isn't there until noon so we go to the dealer and that is where I will go to have it programmed.
