“THE cutest boutique in the UP, possibly the universe ? Small enough to not be an overwhelming experience, but thoughtfully filled with beautiful things delightfully displayed! I adore this shop!”
“Yooper Shirts – A Must-Stop in Marquette!
If you’re passing through Marquette—or anywhere in the U.P., really—make Yooper Shirts one of your stops. I’ve worked with Dylan and the crew for several years now, and they’ve always been fantastic. We’ve done custom shirts for the South Shore Fishing Association’s Vet Fishing Day, and more recently, Dylan helped me design and order custom embroidered hats with my Camp Drahtshack logo. He walked me through style choices, logo placement, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. The hats turned out great!
The team in the front is always welcoming—friendly, upbeat, and they even greet me by name. Jeremy, the owner, runs a business that genuinely supports the community. If you’ve ever caught a t-shirt at an NMU hockey game, chances are it came flying through the air thanks to Yooper Shirts!
They’ve got way more than just shirts, too—hats, mugs, stickers, decals, and all kinds of Upper Peninsula-inspired souvenirs. Whether you're a Yooper yourself or just visiting, this place captures the spirit of the U.P. and sends it home with you in a shopping bag.
Great people. Great gear. Just a great local business all around.”
“Such a great shop! Amazing shirts, and other Yooper gifts. I come here for gifts for my family & they are always a hit. The artwork, stickers, shirts, greeting cards, are all fantastic! And don’t get me started on the sunrises! Love everything about it. It’s a must-stop when visiting MQT. Or just because!”
“beautiful trendy yet unique clothing, antique pieces, and accessories. Has an elegant, high-end feel with affordable price tags. Employees are helpful and friendly! Will definitely shop again!”
“Very cute little shop with lots of things to look at. Very good for kids stuff. The customer service was incredible and I was even given a stained item and an unpriced book for free. Very friendly cute place.”

“Was looking for the perfect notebook to chronicle our trip and I found this beautiful cedar journal, hand-cut and engraved by a local woman. Stunning, well-made, and it smells great!”
“I think the owner must have changed since the older reviews, because there are a ton of vegan options now. There are 6 veganizeable breakfast options and 13 lunch options. We tried the breakfast burrito and tacos, which were both really tasty. Definitely the best vegan option in Marquette.”

“Super- and I mean SUPER - crowded shop with Michigan souvenirs and merch. Stickers, clothing, hats, puzzles, shot glasses, keychains, you name it. Definitely not accessible if you have a wheelchair or cane or walker or similar.”
“Amazing selection of vintage and name brand clothing at Fancy Free in Marquette MI! Greta, the owner, was incredibly welcoming. She helped me handpick the perfect pieces for casual wear, formal events, and even new work attire. Her kindness and sweet demeanor towards every customer were truly refreshing. The strong relationship she has with her customers was so fun. It felt like I was shopping with a big group of my girlfriends. The atmosphere in the store was lively and inviting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable! ?”
