This was my first visit to the salon for color (blonde) and extensions, and I'm beyond happy with the results--thanks to JoEllen!! I've had foils and extensions for many years, but working on the road for the past 10 years has made it very challenging finding qualified stylists who can achieve the right blonde and add extensions with complete success! JoEllen is a magician--she is so talented and works so fast--I just love her!! Instead of foils, she did all-over color and it worked beautifully!! I can't say enough good things about JoEllen and Jessica & Co.! They're a great group of very talented women with very happy clients coming and going all the time! I'm so thrilled about my own experience, and so looking forward to going back again and again to maintain my long, blonde hair!!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I love going to this salon for brow lamination and tinting by Chelsea. She has worked hard to help me grow my brows back and work with what I have to keep me looking fresh. I’ve grown so much more confident since she started taking care of my brows.I got my nails done today by Andrea and she did a phenomenal job. She takes her time, pays attention to detail, and gave me a beautiful set that feels so comfortable on my hands. I’ve had poor experiences other places that make my nails too thick or don’t have time for art. Andrea made sure to get my nails to a comfortable length and shape, and didn’t shy away from a cute design. Love!Services: Eyebrow beautification

I booked an appointment online weeks in advanced for a full cut color and highlight with a detailed note regarding the current state of my hair since this was my first time visit this salon. I arrived only to be shouted at over loud music trying to explain that I had an appointment booked. Once my stylist, Diana, was ready she waived me over to my chair and gestured for me to sit never saying a word or introducing herself. At this point Jessica came to consult my hair which I found odd considering I had booked my appointment with Diana. After looking at my reference photos for about 20 seconds she gave Diana a brief explanation of how to preform the cut and color. I sat for 2.5 hours letting the color process and once the foils were taken out there was zero change. Clearly seeing that she made no progress she reluctantly asked if I had time to try something else. At this point she began applying color directly to my virgin roots without warning which based off the reference photos I showed I clearly did not want colored. While sitting again for 2 more hours of processing I watched as another employee walked around barefoot vaping inside the salon. Once I was finished processing my hair was quickly dried, “cut” and styled to hide the results. She kept my back to the mirror and took my cape of saying we were done. At this point she offered to have me book another appointment to fix it. After spending more than $200 for a hack job and blotchy highlights with awful customer service I would never return to this salon or recommend to anyone in the area. Booked a nail appnt for June 16 on June 1, received an email confirmation and text. I mistakenly went to the salon on the 14, was advised I was two days early. That night I received a text that my appnt was denied. Believing this was a computer glitch I called the salon at 10 , was told she would CK and call me back. Approximately 5 hrs later was told the nail tech physically was not able to keep my appointment.iHave called and emailed with no responseExtremely poor customer service. The nail girl should have completed my initial service and then said she is not able to keep as her client. She also should have called me herself to explain

Just like many other comments on here, the customer service is awful. I have been looking for someone to give my curly head of hair some highlights for a while so I don’t have to drive 6 1/2 hours to get it done back at home. A friend of mine mentioned that this salon may have someone who could highlight curly hair. I then attempted to email the salon April 10th…nothing. Then I called them and left a message, my name, and a number…..nothing. I also direct messages them on their Facebook page on May 5th….still nothing. Today, I was downtown and close to the salon so I thought, “I’ll ask them there and they’ll be able to see my hair in person and determine if they could do it or not.” What I thought was going to be a welcoming conversation was, unfortunately, quite the opposite. I had to welcome myself in by saying hello, which was awkward, but fine because they were doing hair on clients in the salon. However, it’s not like their mouths were doing the hair. I then politely asked if I could ask a few questions IF they had time but if not I completely understood. Whoever I was speaking to had an unnecessary attitude towards me and told me they were all busy. That’s it. No “sorry we are a little busy at the moment, but you are welcomed to leave your name and number on a piece of paper and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can,” or “is it fine if you come back or call at this time of day when we’re available so we can answer those questions for you?” Nope, none of that was said. I left and said “I completely understand! Thank you!” Someone had to be polite and friendly because that’s definitely not the service that they preach there. Yikes!

Walked in and asked if I could get a haircut and they said they were too busy today. One person in the whole place getting a pedicure. The place was dead just like their personality.

I'm not the type of person to write reviews but here we are. I called inquiring about a service Jessica & Co. offered. I called during business hours. No answer. I left a message. In the meantime I found the business on Vagaro and scheduled myself for what I was interested in. I got an auto text later that evening saying my appointment was declined, w no reason given. No return call from my message. This has happened to me one other time at Jessica & Co. The service I was interested in isn't offered anywhere else in Marquette, from what I know. I'm unhappy with their customer service. They must not need new clients.

Chelsea gave me the best facial on Saturday! I have super sensitive skin so I was a little worried I might have a reaction but everything was super calming and gentle. My skin is still glowing and so rejuvenated, I can't wait to go back!
