Wow, did this Lowe's screw up our delivery. Avoid ordering from them AT ALL COSTS. Only half the delivery came on the scheduled date. The other half seems to have been lost in aether. We've received countless notifications that our order is ready for pickup even though it was SUPPOSED to be a delivery. We tried to pick it up on multiple trips as to not further delay our project, but it's been a massive struggle. The staff is super friendly, but they don't seem to be empowered to do anything to actually fix the situation. Can't believe how terrible this experience has been, I would expect a national chain like this to have it a bit more together. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Delivery experience you would not believe. Giving 1 star for the customer service being friendly, but really, really really miserable. Go to Menards.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE! I have purchased large orders from both Lowe's and Menards for a remodelling project. I will now be a life long Menards customer after my experience. First of all, the delivery system they have is garbage. It's unorganized, expensive, and scheduling is very limited (you will gauranteed have to take a day off of work to accept delivery, assuming their delivery truck isn't "broken down" again). They also seem to be interested in customer service ONLY if it means they will make more money. Most of the customer service associates are probably good people but seem to lack knowledge and experience in their departments. I've heard "I'm new here" several times while shopping in the departments.

We placed an on-line order for pavers, paver base, sheetrock, and several other items. The interface between Lowe's national on-line ordering and delivery scheduling office, and the Marquette store seems like it needs some coordination, but the staff in the national location and in Marquette were all extremely helpful and customer oriented. Rob, the Marquette Delivery Manager, Jenna, and Matt, our delivery driver, were all very competent and friendly. Our place is about 2 1/2 hours from the Marquette store. It did take a while to schedule the delivery because of the distance and a problem with the delivery truck, but once the day was set, Matt arrived right on time and helped me put all of the items where I needed them. We thought the delivery charge of about $166 was reasonable considering the distance and the weight of the stuff we ordered. All of the items arrived in perfect condition. We would not hesitate to order from Lowe's again.

Ordered high end carpet, on a sale that included free delivery, installation, and removal. When I got the contract there was a extra $511.50 leveling charge. No explanation. I called the store and asked for an itemized list of the charges. Some of it was mileage which is fine but these were completely outrageous! 1. $150.00 disposal fee (so they will remove for free but not dispose) 2. $100 fee to cut carpeting out around the fire place and $47.00 fee for seaming,(Am I crazy or is this not part of installation???) 3. This is the best one ...$202.50 for removal of soiled carpet (apparently they only want to remove new carpets) When I called Lowes to discuss this - I was told if I did not like it that I could go somewhere else. Great customer service....my husband is a contractor who has done a lot of business with Lowes....not anymore!

Great products poor customer device. Try charge $130 for delivery to my area even though they are delivering several items to my area that day then try to give me an 8 hour window for delivery. I have to work so I can't sit here all day. When I call to tell them I have to work and they can't deliver until a specific time they say "it's a problem". No when you are paying ME $130 it can be a problem, until then you can come when I available if you can't give me a two hour window when I make the purchase.
