I was there on 7/15/24 about 9:45am. The store was almost empty. I always shop and scan myself to 'make it easier' until it's time to checkout. I used the self checkout lanes on the south end of the store and it was just me checking out. There was a Meijer employee hunkered down behind a podium on their cell phone obviously trying to be out of camera view. I had to wait until they were done surfing the web apparently until they could come over and scan 3 of my 7 items. No personality, no apology and not worth the pennies they're making either. As soon as they scanned my items they returned to the same spot and continued on their phone. Gee I'm sorry my shopping interfered with your social online life while at work. Pathetic. As I walked out I said maybe you should try some customer service and put your damn phone away! Moron......

Love the store, hate that there are never enough cashiers. Consistently unstaffed at the registers leading to long wait times. Rather go across the street/down the roundabout.

Fantastic store with absolutely everything I need and plenty of items in stock!
Shopping carts are clean and their collection stations are labelled for large and small carts for people who actually return their shopping carts.
Plenty of large parking spots and the parking lot is kept neat.
I only took 1 star off because all the cashiers are too slow.

Been shopping at Meijer most of my life and I honestly love it. Best department store around. Union workers, great prices, and excellent customer service.

Clean. Employees could be friendlier, they're not mean or bad or anything, a lot of them just kind of look away instead of saying hi.

This is just a little humor that I thought I would share. I was shopping and was in the back of the store by the eggs there is a shelf that has a few baked goods on it and I looked at it and there was a couple of rolls I looked at that the reduced price was more than the original price. It said 10% off and it was right it was 10% more than the original price. I took a picture of it and showed it to an employee and had a good laugh anyway.
