I travel back-and-forth from Detroit to Chicago a lot and this is my favorite spot to stop to get cheap gas. It’s always clean. It’s easy on and off with lots of pumps. The speedway price is very low and you get an extra five cents off. They have Slurpee‘s. It’s my go to stop. I do agree that there’s an often long line at the cashier, because it’s a popular place, but I always skip the line and go to the self check out.

We came here based on the price of gas on Google maps, the price was $3.00. When we got here it was $3.39. Not sure when this price was posted or how frequently Google updates.

545 in the afternoon kitchen closed im a truck driver out of hours no food was just wanting a pizza everything in store is junk food zero respect for this place stuff stacked all over store not put away totally rude staff if I could give -2 I would

I am truck driver. I was looking so forward to have supreme pizza but cleark said kitchen close @ 6 pm.what kind of truck stop they closed kitchen @6pm on Friday.

What a “classy” place. 2 hour parking at a truck stop? You have to be kidding me! I read all the previous reviews and thought they must have been left by drivers with an axe to grind. Bit so! If anything, the prior reviews were too complimentary. Getting in and out was a joke and a pain in the butt! The 2 hour parking is a damned insult. Especially in this area which is devoid of safe truck parking. Speedways used to be above average truck stops. If this place is any indication, they’ll be out of business very soon, hopefully to be taken over by a company that actually cares about drivers.
And speedway, don’t bother with your standard reply…. If you really care about your customers experiences, just read the comments and take the appropriate action. Sending a link to a corporate website so you can get the exact information supplied here is simply insulting the intelligence of your customers.

This place used to welcome truck drivers, it's now clear that truck driver's patronage is not welcomed much less appreciated. I'm not sure if it's just a new manager on a power trip or what, but now they will have you removed from the property if you park there longer than 2 hrs or if you're in what they have now said is no parking zones that were never an issue before. Used to regularly give them business, I will never stop here again in my personal or company vehicle.

Super slow pumps. Plan for it. Pump touch screens are very unresponsive. QR scanners are very hit or miss.
