Mecosta Book Gallery is a fantastic little bookstore, a true gem and a gift from the gods for book lovers. It is described as one of the best bookstores ever, with visitors praising its brilliant and amazing collection. The shelves are stocked well with a great selection of all genres, from old to new, featuring books you would never dream of seeing. With so much to choose from, some books are even piled on the ground or in boxes, making one hour inside feel insufficient. The shop is located on busy Main Street Mecosta, strategically situated between two college towns and county lakes. The business buys quality books and makes house calls to acquire them. Please note the shop is temporarily closed for a sabbatical with restocking work happening behind the scenes; a reopen date will be announced.
This place is amazing! Rows and rows and stacks of books. I could spend a day here. One of the best children’s selections of any used bookstore I’ve been, and I’ve been to so many. The pricing is so good too! For the bibliophiles, this is worth going out of your way.
