This store has got me down hill in the past 6 months. Carts outside spread across the sidewalks, lobby area crowded, and long lines with 1 cashier. This store has seen 3 assistant managers in the past few months and are all leaving due to a manager that sits in the office and writes what she wants done daily and leaves for the day! Vendors have to wait to be checked in while manager goes outside to smoke during peak hours while the cashier or other key holder is left with a line of customers. There is no sense of teamwork in this store. While the employees are busy stocking shelves, attending to customers, and trying to stay positive the manager comes out of the office with her bag and directions then leaves the cashier with 6 people in line waiting to be checked out! Fresh produce is not fresh so when you purchase it your in hopes that it's good...right? Well it's Not I've bought at least 8-10 watermelons at a price of 4.95 each and out of that 10 I had 2 that were maybe fresh and edible. Took them back to the store and quess what....? Dollar general does Not refund your money for bad fresh produce!
A positive for this store is the employees work hard and are friendly and helpful

Other than odd time's for shipments to come in and get put on the shelves, it was very clean and I found everything I needed without having to meander All thru the store. Very conveniently layed out for the customer.

Monday must be stock day. Unable to get through with a push cart since many aisles had big carts in the way.

Store has been redone & now has fruits & veggies plus more cold foods & freezer stuff also has new manager who's very nice & look forward to now having a nice & clean store you can move around in without running into the big carts in the isles like before.

Dollar General is the best place to go in Mendon for most general needs. It generally has everything except for fresh produce. The other day I went in for snacks and one of the coolers was spraying water onto the ground, this generally doesn't happen.
