“Found a used car that I liked on a local lot. Interest rates are just crazy right now, even with credit score above 700. I found rates as low as 6.8%, but only when you buy from a franchise dealership (and pay lots more). Called and checked online but rates everywhere were terrible. Was just going to forget it and keep my beater when, on a friend's recommendation, I contacted PFCU. They offered me a great rate. A couple of emails and texts, and the next day I showed up and met with Sara, the Loan Officer at the Menominee Branch. I was in and out the door with everything signed and a check in my hand in under 15 minutes. Superb customer service and great loan terms. Nice looking branch building with plenty of parking. I am going to close my local Farmers & Merchants account and deal with PFCU as my local bank from now on, and when I refi my house in a couple years, I will be sure to contact them first.”
