My Mocha tastes like just hot chocolate, literally no coffee taste, and they only filled the cup half way. My wife's Chai also tastes strongly of Oat milk for some reason. Pretty disappointed given the pricing is worse than Starbucks but they can't even serve me coffee when I order

Great cafe inside Schuler's. I really like the coffee and desserts. Very quiet and immaculate vibes. The only thing is it is sometimes hard to work in here because the wi-fi is spotty. Pictured: Chocolate Strawberry

This is my ideal place to meet up with friends or get coffee while I shop in the bookstore. It is very cozy, friendly, and convenient. The food is always good. I am so glad that this place is open following the COVID pandemic. You can also be here alone while eating and, in the meantime, reading a book or magazine.

Glad they're open again; always a great place to go for coffee & a bite to eat. Can't wait to try some of their valentine day drinks, they sound so good! Only wish they stayed open past 4pm.

I met up with some friends here last week and the experience was ok. The worst part was the drinks. I ordered a large caramel latte that tasted neither like coffee nor caramel. Oddly, it sort of tasted like almond milk but I didn't order it with almond milk. I would advise avoiding the drinks here, they are not worth your money at all. They charge a similar price as Starbucks does but without any of the quality. My friend ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich, which she liked. The atmosphere is pretty nice, good for chatting with some friends or reading a book. Overall, I would recommend coming here only if you skip the drinks and stick to the food or bottled beverages they sell.Parking: Many parking spots, close to the entrance.Dietary restrictions: They have non-dairy options for drinks.

The cafe is finally open again!! Wonderful staff and tasty pastries! Their drinks are so wonderful and when it's cold outside they have the fire place running, it's such a cozy spot surrounded by books.

Great sandwiches and salads at a responsible price. You order and they bring to your table. Service is quick and you have real napkins and silverware! Good place to meet friends or family inside a wonderful bookstore!

Often, my lady walks for exercise in the mall. Her and her friends enjoy walking there. I enjoy sipping coffee, chatting with folks, etc. Chapbooks is a good coffeeshop, well located, well cared for, and managed with care and reason. Their coffee has always been fresh, and tasty. The bagels and scones always look good - too good. Too tempting! Sometimes, we have sandwiches - and they're good. Of course, we make sure to to get the same thing that we order. Duh!

I rarely take the time to write a review but thought I'd kindly express my views in hopes that management will take a look at what they are serving their patrons. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup hoping to receive such. Instead, I was given a cup of a very thick tomatoe based "chilli" like dish. Upon tasting a spoon or two it was indeed chicken chilli complete with a ground meat substance, also there was no avacado as advertised. I promptly asked if I could return and get the "tomatoe bisque" soup instead. She was kind and quickly brought the replacement soup. This was almost as big a disappoinment as the first. I was served a very runny, light pink soup that didn't have the slightest hint of tomatoe taste. I tried my hardest to enjoy, after all I was given extra fruit. After an few spoonfuls I just could not justify the almost $5 I spent for the soup. It wasn't as much as the taste was awful I felt they were trying to deceive customers into thinking this watered down substance was tomatoe soup or that the chili was chicken tortilla. Not okay Schuler/ Chapbook Cafe.?

We enjoyed a delicious meal at a quiet table beside a warm fireplace. Delightful service was very good and soft music added to the experience.

I love meeting a friend for lunch at the Chapbook Cafe. The bookstore is a treasure and carries lots of gift items in addition to the wonderful book selection. Salad, sandwich, coffee, tea-and books!
