I went here with my girlfriend to her medication that she’s been taking for a quite a while. One day, there was a new pharmacist who was questioning her medication and decided not to give her the medication because the pharmacist personally felt that my girlfriend should not have been prescribed this. (It’s a beta blocker and she’s been taking it for a while). The worst part is she hasn’t had her medication in over a day and this pharmacist trying to be a hero and do a doctors job instead of her own job, sent my girlfriend into a panic. We immediately called her doctor office and told them about this, they were astonished to hear there’s a pharmacist doing this to people. The craziest part is while we were waiting in line before it was our turn, we actually watched her do this exact thing to another patient in his 70s or 80s I couldn’t believe my eyes. This woman needs to be fired, she is gate keeping people’s medication just because she doesn’t understand or feel that it’s a good prescription WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT THE PATIENT AT ALL. What pharmacist gate keeps medication from other doctors patients? Totally out of line, not her job, and potentially putting people in harms way. If you’ve had a similar experience I encourage you to speak up. She’s a larger set black lady, don’t remember her name.

The pharmacists and technicians have been nothing but professional, courteous and kind with me. Yesterday I came from urgent care and needed to pick up an acute med. Due to problems with the prescriber, it took a while for urgent care to send the prescription and it ended up being sent 10 minutes before close. Instead of telling me to come tomorrow, which they were totally within their rights to do, the pharmacist and pharmacy tech very kindly filled my prescription and got me checked out right before close. Used to be a pharmacy technician with CVS for 5 years, so I know the feeling of having to fill a prescription right at the last minute, so I am incredibly grateful because I really needed to start the med that night. Thanks!

My fiance and I went here to pick up narcos that where prescribed to me fallowing an oral surgery and despite the surgeons office calling, and us having all the paperwork proving this medication was for my operation they still wouldn't give us the medication. I am quite literally wallowing in pain because you wannabe doctors couldn't follow instructions from my surgeon. Hope you're happy going the community such a terrible service to the community and denying people medications that they needs and extending people recovery and suffering.

Wish I could give zero stars. EVERY time I need a prescription, it takes THREE trips for them to figure out how to fill my prescription, regardless of what it is. Absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. And it’s certainly not helping my health outcomes.

The pharmacy manager is awful to her employees. She's chased off so many of the girls I liked. They had a really nice blonde pharmacist from rite aid I think there for a few weeks, but I haven't seen her lately. Bet she quit because of the manager too. I will be switching insurance in January and transferring pharmacies.

Line moves fast, if there is a line. 90 day supplies, so I come and pick up fewer times. People at counter seem pleasant. Kinks in the system are just things to ignore. I am sent a barcode to show when I get to the store but no one needs it or looks at it. Why send it?

I have stage 4 bone and lung cancer. A third of one lung and half the other are covered in bone tumors. I also have tumors all over my ribs. Taking a deep breath is the only way I don't pass out from lack of oxygen and taking a deep breath puts me in excruciating pain. I have oxycontin for this reason. I take 80mgs a day just to function. CVS has had my script since Aug 27th. It was supposed to be filled on the 9th. I came in Friday and was told it would be there Monday, then Monday they told me Tuesday. Tuesday they told me Wednesday. It's now 3 days without my meds and I'm going to the hospital to be put on a ventilator. CVS is a joke. I miss rite aid

Never have had a bad experience picking up prescriptions here. I was there today and witnessed a couple customers become irate with the pharmacist and staff. All of the staff handled it very professionally, they were in fact just doing their jobs.

There was only one register open, so it took 20 minutes to wait in line, until I had my prescriptions.
Plus my medical visa card wouldn't swipe and they had no way of manually entering the cc information. That's poor programming on your technical end. (I can do this at Meijer and I do credit card support for a living and I know this is not a PCI violation).
You also have the function locked out of the quick check out feature, because I have controlled substance Rx's. So I can't have it ready before arrival. Also very disappointing, because I can do that at Meijer Pharmacy and Rite Aid Pharmacy.
It appears as though someone has made their own personal decisions on security for the Pharmacy, and not based off of facts.
Two of my medications were sent here from my Psychiatrist and they didn't fill them, until I had to call and request they be filled. I dealt with the same delays, when I was using Meijer in the past, which is why I moved to Rite Aid.
I just moved all my medications to CVS, due to Rite Aid closing. Considering I have 11 different medications to fill each month, and half of them are controlled substance, I think I will be looking for a new Pharmacy. Rite Aid automatically sent all my meds to Walgreens, which I changed to CVS, I will be considering them now.
Very disappointing, as every issue I experienced was not the local stores fault, but these are rules put into place by higher management that clearly aren't interested in the consumers experience vs other local companies.
