Make sure they give you a receiptbecause if you dont ask you wont get one. Do not buy the $5 LED universal lights. They are defective. This is how Dollar Tree makes money. They sell cheap defective equipment, dont give you a recepit and you eat the cost. Stick to buying simple craft supplies there to be safe. Bought a 2 qt picture and used the first time and handle broke off.

I come to this dollar store often because it's the one closest to me. I've ignored the mess of unpacked boxes and clutter constantly, (there's plenty on reviews on here about that so I don't even have to elaborate)
What finally made me leave a review today was the poor and rude customer service. I'm not even going to comment the horrible attitudes in the past in case those people aren't working there anymore but today, I felt it from two different "managers."
I went in to return about 24 candle holders because my friend ended up finding some at her dollar tree and I did not need that many so I figured I'd return mine to save her the trip since she did me a favor and bought some at her store.
The gentlemen at the cashier was very sweet and professional but informed me that they could only do exchanges and not money returns or gift cards. However when I looked online Dollar tree specifically said "If you are not completely satisfied with merchandise purchased in OUR STORES, please speak to one of our associates. With original receipt, items can be exchanged for another item, or a refund will be issued in THE ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT. He called a manager over and a person told me the same thing as the cashier originally did as well as "that's why is says that at the bottom of the receipt." I pointed out that It didn't say anything at the bottom of the receipt. At this point this manager was even more annoyed than before and called out someone's name while walking away and not letting me know anything else.
Now a different manager greets me. Pretty lashes. Awful attitude. I explained to her that while I needed a few things today I do not need $26 worth of stuff from the dollar store today and cannot do an even exchange but would happily take a gift card or regular refund to the card I used. she replied with " well where's the few things you needed? I thought you said you had a few things you needed to get?' I inform her that I haven't gotten them yet. She tells me with an attitude to go get them and walks away.
Go to check out and the cashier has to go grab manager number one again who proceeds to tell me again that they could only do an even exchange. I tell them that I was under the understanding that the second manager was going to refund my card, manager number one says we can't do that, that whatever is online is only for online purchases (read picture I left under review, second paragraph states exchanges done online, doesn't say that for purchases in store.) first manager calls over second manager, at this point a line is forming, second manager comes out talking on her cell phone. I have to repeat myself again and ask her what is going on because she led me to believe I just had to pick out my items and she would take care of everything. At this point she says to the cashier outloud, "just swipe it all and give it back to her because at this point this is getting annoying."
listen, I did not have $26 worth of items to purchase that day and I wanted to take care of this before my receipt got too old. I can see why something you were told vs what your website says can be frustrating but there is never any sense of professionalism from this store and coming from managers makes it even worse. The refund transaction was so easy to the point that it makes me wonder why the attitude and argument is worth the minimum wage that you get paid? I was not taking any money out of your own pocket. judging from these reviews they clearly need to hire more professional "managers"
Cashier dude, get out while you can because there is no way the employees working there don't provide a toxic environment from my experience shopping there many times.

It supposed to be 1 dollar we got used to it.. now I have check price each and every item whether it is a dollar , 3 dollar or 5 dollar ?

Ok not bad need more help.But the store was a mase. One cashier. The one was standing talking to someone. It was the manager I believe .

this is probably literally the worst store i've ever been to!!!! always such a mess, nothing is organized...i'm not the tidiest person but come on, upkeep your store y'all.

I like this brunch a lot. They have a variety of baskets to storage stuff. This store is busy most of the time so I'd like the company to hire more staff. They are always nice and doing great!

Cluttered everything's just thrown all over it's more of a safety hazard than anything definitely would not recommend taking small children in. The staff was really friendly but they just don't have enough staff I feel really bad for them.

This store is in awful condition, there are unopened stock boxes stacked up in the aisles, products on the floor thrown around in every aisle. It is a complete safety hazard for the customers. Sadly last night, there were only two employees in the whole store, a cashier and a stocker. I wonder what OSHA would think about the condition of the place for the worker safety. I feel so bad for the employees! I will not be back to the store!

I thought it might be a fluke once. But, every single time I have gone it is the same. Store is a disaster. Boxes all over. Products just thrown everywhere (I assume a lot thrown around up front as people just leave cause the line is 30 minutes long). That’s the next thing. No matter what, there is one cashier and the manager will not come help with the line that’s to the back of the store nearly. Then there is two lines forming for one cashier and no one knows whose really next! Today, another customer asked an employee if he could get on a register and he says “I’m not trained in register”. Train your darn employees if you are only going to have two so they both can do register! The poor cashier looked like she was about to cry and break down. I felt bad for her. I’ve tried a couple times just thinking it was flukes. But, I won’t be back to this store. It’s always a 30 minute wait when I’m just trying to run in and out for something quick.
